I contacted this provider through Angie's List, taking advantage one of their special deals I received in their emails. The service provider arrived ahead of time and was well dressed and polite. He quickly got down to business and got everything together and went up on the roof checking out every part and stopping to do work now and then. He gave me an assessment and explained what was going on and what I can expect in the future. He answered all my questions in a pleasant and unhurried manner with many helpful hints and information. He showed me pictures of my roof that helped me gain an understanding of what he was talking about.

Great. Albert and Jasmine are knowledgable, helpful, and responsive. Albert gave me great confidence in his knowledge of roofing and gutter systems. Jasmine is the point of conduct. She's friendly and makes sure things get done. She kept me informed of the status of the job. Because of the sudden cold weather, the job took longer than expected but I was informed all along the way. Most of the work was done while I was away from home. When I did meet the workers, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job. Whether the prices are out of line, I couldn't tell you. It's just a lot of money to me. But I'm very happy with the work so I'm not complaining about the cost.

Mark came and inspected my roof. He also sealed exposed roofing nails. He was full of helpful advice, and gave me an honest opinion on the expected remaining life of my roof. No hard sell. He also took a look at a second project to provide a quote while on the property. I definitely felt like I could trust him when it comes time to do roof, or other work.

Action Roofing arrived on time for the scheduled repair. They performed excellent work. Mark (project manager) and Albert (owner) were always available by phone for questions or comments. Invoices were sent promptly an accurately. MOST IMPORTANTLY - when there was an unforeseen problem during the repair, Action Roofing stepped up to take responsibility and assumed the cost to make things right. They demonstrate exceptional professionalism though their actions. I have already contracted with this company for subsequent roofing work and recommended their services to those inquiring about roofing companies.

Perfect and beyond expectations!!!! Great customer service and hard working team. They stayed until 9:00 pm on a Friday night to finish project and fit me in the schedule because more rain was expected :)

After Marks initial assessment , he explained that three vent pipes had seals that were leaking. He explained that the repairs needed were minor and he could do them while here. Mark corrected the issues and will be quoting vent upgrade's and repair's to our sheet rock damage. Overall I would recommend Mark and his company to friends, family and all Angie's list members.

Mark was professional and helpful. This roof tune-up is a great deal for $49.00. I had requested a quote for roof replacement and an in-depth quote was emailed to me. I was thrilled that Action Roofing would drive to Winterset.

He came early, after calling first which was okay with me. He inspected the roof then came down and showed me pictures and talked to me about 2 boots that have begun to crack and advised they be replaced. I asked him if he was going to do the sealant that was included in the price I paid for this visit. He said he didn't think he had any with him and said when the guys come to replace the boots, they could do it then. I thought, well, instead of coming early, he should have stopped by his shop to make sure he had the sealant. I pushed about the sealant and he said he would look in his truck. He found some and did get back on the roof and do that. I was uncomfortable from there on because I felt like he was pushing me to hire his company to do the boots just to get what I had already paid for. I was happy when he left so I may hire his company to do the boots. I also want to comment on how he shakes hands. It is very condescending to shake hands with a woman the way he does. He cups his other hand over the back of my hand like I was a child and I hated that - he must have shook my hand 10 times and I was getting very uncomfortable with it. Please shake hands with women the same way you do with men. This was so inappropriate in the business sense. I marked that I would use this provider again only because there is no MAYBE button.

I was told that it would cost $139 for them to come out and give an estimate on replacing my roof and that would go towards our new roof if I went with them. I called 2 others that are giving an estimate without charging.

I had originally had Action Roofing come by for a $49 roof tune up via Angie's List. Afterwards, I had them come out to replace a potentially leaky pipe boot on my roof. Unfortunately when they came by to replace it, the wrong boot was replaced. After contacting them about the situation they immediately came out and replaced the correct one free of charge. Anybody and any company can make honest mistakes, and how they handled it goes to show what a great company they are. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if needed.

Called to get a quote on siding, was told there was no siding crews available. Why advertise siding if you can provide the services

They did an excellent job. They were able to match the shingles and you can't tell where the furnace vent ever was. They also showed me the vent itself and why it was leaking into the house. The person doing the work kept the work area clean and left no debris. I highly recommend this company.

Everything was fine with them. My daughter has not decided to go ahead and hire them as of yet but we have nothing but positive experience with them thus far. I was there when he did the inspection and he was absolutely professional. He answered all my questions. He was a really nice guy. We really like them.

Service crew was prompt, actually a little early. They went straight to work and were aware of the duct replacement. They assisted with replacing the duct (I was in the attic) and secured the cap. Then they sealed the duct as well. The old flashings and duct were picked up and removed from the property. I was very pleased with both the crew and the contractor. Would recommend this company to other homeowners.

Albert did two separate jobs for us. one was to repair a leaky roof on a three season porch which was really the result of a poor-quality job by the original contractor, who wanted to charge us 75.00 just to assess his own work. Albert came out, identified the problem, and fixed it on the spot-for the same amount. The job has been tested by heavy rains and no leaking at all! The second job was to replace some shingles and a section of gutters. Albert's workers were very fast and efficient, yet the work was top quality and the price very fair. I appreciated the fact that Albert was very responsive to phone calls, and did not act offended when I asked detailed questions about his work or his employees. The roof will have to be replaced eventually-we'll be calling Albert!

The job went far better than I ever could have hoped. It was incredibly hot during the week it took to do the work (yes, we knew ahead of time it would probably take that long). The guys were up on the roof in the early morning hours getting ahead of the heat, then worked until it was dark out in the evening. Every day there was significant and obvious progress throughout the project. There are only two small complaints about the service and Albert took care of them. The first was that the guys left the back yard where they were staging a little messier than I liked and there was some additional clean up that we did after they left. Really, not a big deal, but I also work with landscaping crews and we've always stressed that you clean up EVERYTHING when you're done and heading off the job site. The second is that I was still finding the occasional roofing nail in my landscaping two years after they were done. As for the roofing nails, we have very significant landscaping around the house. It would have been impossible for them to get everything, so this is probably more indicative of the type of work than the guys themselves. The roof itself, having been installed several years ago, still looks brand new and is in excellent shape. We've had zero problems with it and couldn't be happier. Albert is an extremely friendly and detail oriented business owner. He really took the time ahead of the project to go through everything with us. When we were getting quotes he took the time to walk the entire roof with me, point out the issues he saw (even putting a quick fix on a leak we were dealing with at no charge). The other company I called didn't even get out of his car. I saw him park out front so I waited for the guy to come up to the door. Several minutes later he drove off and I got a proposal in the mail 3 days later. Albert sat down with both my wife and I and really explained everything and answered all our questions. I called Albert in the first place on a recommendation of a local home-builder I was working with. Otherwise I never would have know about his business. I would hire him again without question.

Action Roofing & Drywall provides very professional, very knowledgeable employees. They have reasonable prices, excellent punctuality and response time. I have never been disappointed in any of the services provided. Snow removal was excellent, very conscientous of safety for our association members during any snow fall event and very punctual with service.

They did exactly what I asked them to do and at great quality. I worked closely with Albert. The job took about three days and they cleaned up well after themselves. They were very specific in what they were going to do and did the work in a timely fashion.

We had hired them previously when we had a leak in the garage. They replaced the metal vents and patched the area up. I received other estimates and their price came in at the lowest cost. They completed the job in one day and were really quick. They cleaned up well after the job was complete and they did a pretty good job.

They helped me by calling my insurance and making sure I had the best coverage. They got the job done. They provided me 50 year warranty.

It went well. -communication was good -workmanship was excellent -pricing was fair -having this vendor do work for us twice now has made us feel confident in making a positive recommendation and we intend to use his services again when the need arises. -With so many vendors not keeping their commitments and setting false expectations, this company stands out.
