I called Perry on a Wednesday and he came to Cedar Rapids on Saturday. He looked over the area to be painted and wrote the estimate at that time. I had used him previously for the entire first level of my home and he had done a superior job so I went ahead and scheduled with him to do the lower level and bathroom. I was scheduled about 1.5 weeks from the date of the estimate and they were done painting both coats within two days. Perry also does revitalization of wood floors, laminants, ceramic, stone and slate. He does window treatments including custom blinds and shades at a discount. He also has carpet samples and will assist you in choosing the perfect hue for the area you're needing to carpet. It usually takes about two weeks from the time you order the carpet to the time of installation. It varies, of course, but usually a quick turnaround time. Perry provides free estimates for anything you need done, just call him to schedule a time.

He does very poor quality of work. Be ready, he wants to charge for every little thing; for example extra high ceilings, and painter rollers. He requires all the prep work done for him. he will not do any prep work. He was inconsistent on the times that he worked at my home. The first day worked for only 4 hours. I was not home the second day but he did not finish the work. After the second day I realized how poor the quality was, and I fired him. I have paid him 281.60 of the full amount. Now he is demanding that I pay him the full amount or he is going to put a mechanic lien on my home, and is threatening to report me to the credit bureau.

he painted our large entryway incuding up and down the steps and hallway of our split level duplex in no more then 3 1/2 hours. i arrived home after they left. they had asked my husband what he thought in which, being a guy said "fine" without really looking. There are more then 20 spots that need touched up, probably closer to 50, some spots have no paint on at all, ie...trimmed edges that were left out. how he could have missed some of the spots i have no idea. when i called him to say it needed a second coat he refused stating that he would be glad to come retouch the spots but i would have to pay for a second coat. he is coming back next week to do so.
