ARCHER'S DECK & FENCING

Called to get a quote, came out the next day and quoted $3600 to do job. Called the next day and stated that he miscalculated and it was really going to be $5500. It was annoying and seemed unprofessional that he would go back on what was originally quoted. However, they came highly recommended for quality of work by several friends and coworkers so we went for them. Due to them being so busy already it was to a month before they were able to start work on our fence and it took about a week to finish. Once it was finished it looked nice. Also, it must we well made as we live by a creek that flooded a few months later and the fence on the lower part of our property withstood the current of the waters and we have had several days of high (50 mph gust and up) winds and the fence has remained intact.

This was the dream contractor experience. He called back fast after I left messages and they showed up when they said they would. I know nothing about fencing and they were easy to work with and answered any questions I had, and had great answers for problems (like how to put the fence up against my weirdly shaped house). They got the work done fast and cleaned up the job site after they were done. Totally awesome. I wish they did other kinds of contracting!

Everything went great. They were an excellent company; very professional, efficient, and did the work well.

The entire experience was fantastic. We were in a bit of a pinch as we had just adopted a new dog from the local humane society and he quickly realized he could jump our old wire fence with no problem. Roger Archer came out on a Sunday to give us an estimate (which was literally more than $1200 less than a quote from a Lowes' installer) and had a contract to us early that week. We sent in a down payment and they came and performed all services quickly and professionally. They even started the job about half a week sooner than originally estimated and came out on a Saturday morning to finish up the job. The fence is perfect, and the dog can no longer escape. Archer's Deck and Fence gets our highest recommendation for quality, value, professionalism and service.
