It was timely. As for the drywall job--you can see lines where a couple of the sheets connect & at the top of one wall you can see the texture of the tape. On the knotty pine portion of the ceiling--there is a part (which I didn't noticed, until we trimmed ourselves) that was missing along the wall. I had to call them back to hang the lights back up on the ceiling, because they were lying on the floor. Be aware, they don't have their own Shopvac, so they will use yours--ruined our vacuum; however, they did replace it.

I was told it would take no more than 3 days to complete the project and probably just 2 1/2. It turned out to be 4 days and the job was incomplete when the contractor left. The drywall was hung on the first day but not mudded, that was my first clue it wouldn't be done on time. It took 3 days to hang drywall mud and texture the walls. He said it took 2 hours (time he should have been doing other work) to scrape the orange peel off of the ceiling to prep it for painting (I guess he has never heard of tape). When I asked why the ceiling wasn't orange peeled, he said he asked my girlfriend and she said to make it smooth, even though during our walk through I told him that I wanted everything orange peeled and painted the same color. The floor tile is wood grain and one of the pieces was installed with the grain running opposite of the rest. Also When he installed the toe kick for the cabinets he cut and nailed the shipping board behind the toe kick, (which I had to remove and do correctly) and also ruined the crown molding because of a dull saw blade. I also had a piece of card board in the bottom of the shower to protect the floor and each night when I got home from work the cardboard was gone and tools were stored in the shower, and a ladder was placed in the shower numerous times (to do the drywall and painting) scratching the floor even more. About a week after he "finished" the power in the bathroom went out. At first I thought it was a fuse but after realizing the other bathroom still had power (they share a breaker), I called an electrician and he found a loose connection in the outlet box that potentially could have caused a fire. I decided to check with the city to find out if permits were pulled and found out that neither an electrical or plumbing permit was issued for the job. I am very disappointed in the work that was performed and especially for the price I paid. For about half the price i would have understood, But he charged premium price for an amateur job.
