"This was a great experience from start to finish. Joe Nelson gave us a quote and estimated timeline for completion and both were exactly correct. He was excellent at communicating who would be working at our home and when. He answered all texts promptly and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. The work done by Joe and his people was excellent quality and we could not be happier with our new finished lower level. Highly recommend!"

"We hired Stoneking Enterprises in 2019 after a total loss house fire to demolish the remains of the old house, remove a tree that was next to the house and limit the ability to rebuild, and build a new house. I can’t post a normal review because the complete honest story is 10K characters longer than allowed, so here is a quick summary of the worst: -Violated contract price and terms -Didn’t adhere to build schedule -DIdn’t adhere to materials selections -Swapped to cheaper subcontractors without consent or notifying the county to update the building permit -Delayed documents necessary to get construction loan -Ignored construction loan deadline and extensions -Took two years to complete a house when industry standard for this area during the same time frame was about half that long. -Didn’t maintain a clean safe job site -Didn’t follow erosion control regulations during construction -Materials went missing from jobsite Poor workmanship included: -Not removing a tree that is causing settling issue for the house -Causing the existing retaining wall to fail and have to be replaced -Not putting the house in the correct location or elevation in the lot which necessitated putting in a whole new sewer line -Random wires sticking out of walls -Light fixtures hanging by their wires from the side of the house -Dark gray grout left all of the ceilings over showers -Not properly restoring the grade of the lot -Not pouring sidewalk all the way to our lot line or from the sidewalk to the front door -Damaging the neighbor’s sidewalk with their equipment -External outlets that don’t work or don’t have an outlet in the hole -Using the wrong materials -Siding doesn’t completely cover the exterior walls and sill plate in places which is causing pest problems -Incorrectly building the deck and leaving off the stairs to make up for the wood they were short. To top all of this off, they sent us our final invoice before the job was completed and before we were eligible to close on our mortgage and it was almost $40,000 more than our contract. We tried communicating with them through a lawyer and they rebuffed every effort. We ended up having to file a lawsuit in order to get them to communicate. There are not enough words for me to say how strongly I recommend that no one risk doing business with this company. If you do want to take the chance, then I strongly suggest you have legal council involved from step one and that you insist that the scope of work description state that the job is to follow the plans and the selections rather than trusting the clause on a later page that references those supplemental contract documents to be enough to protect you."

"Very high pressure sales. For your own sake have cameras rolling during sales pitch. Don’t let them make you believe that the installation is done by Erie. Totally subcontracted. Talked us into choosing them even though they were 7k higher than other roofers with the promise of higher quality service that didn’t happen, job site was a mess had to inspect gutters they were not cleaned. They came back out cleaned said it was done got back up on ladder gutters still full and found damaged siding on back of chimney. After filling with BBB repairs and cleanup were done just not worth the higher price. Price started at $26 a square for metal and $15. For fiberglass after 4 hours of sales it came down to $21 metal and $10.5 a square foot fiberglass. I surely have buyers remorse hopefully this review helps someone in their decision. Also suggest reading this [*** Link removed ***] prior to reading all the A+ ratings on BBB Also make sure proper permits were pulled they did not pull one till after the install when I questioned it. Good Luck"

American Tubs designs and manufactures a complete line of premium quality Walk-In Bathtubs that are ideal for people with Limited Mobility, Seniors, Disabled and people with pain, arthritis, stress and other debilitating conditions.
The cost to refinish a bathtub is $490 for most homeowners. However, this cost can range from $200 to $1,000 or more, depending on your tub's material and condition.
For example, enamel and cast-iron bathtubs are pretty straightforward to refinish, costing between $350 and $600. However, if you have an antique claw-foot tub, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for refinishing costs due to the care and complexity needed.
For a standard-sized bathtub with minor damage, it takes approximately 3 to 5 hours to refinish. It might take a bit longer if your bathtub refinishing contractor needs to fill in significant cracks or gouges. This is the same if you have a specialty tub, like an oversized bathtub—you can expect your pro to take a bit on the longer side.
If your bathtub is in overall good shape with minor scratches, discoloration, or just general wear and tear, it's best (and less expensive) to refinish it.
If your tub has large cracks, is leaking, or is otherwise severely damaged, we recommend replacing it with a new bathtub. Refinishing a bathtub can only fix superficial problems, so these issues will still be present or reappear after a refinishing.
There are a few signs, both obvious and not so obvious, that it's time to refinish your bathtub. While some of these signs aren't an urgent problem, others could lead to significant damage if left untreated. Signs you should look out for include:
Rust stains, which signal the tub's enamel or surface sealer is deteriorating
Small chips, which can grow into larger chunks and can lead to rusting
Discoloration, which doesn't lead to a more significant problem but can be unsightly
Dirty surfaces, which means that the tub glaze is breaking down and allowing dirt to seep below the coating
Refinishing a bathtub is worth it if your tub has minor damage or is a color that you don't like. The cost of replacing a bathtub is more expensive than simply refinishing one, averaging around $5,300. It's more cost-effective to refinish your tub if you can, but it also gives you the look of a new bathtub without having to replace the whole thing.
