Description of Work: Wouldn't even return my calls. I called 3 times and spoke to a lady who wouldn't even set up an appointment.

 + -1 morethe tech was very honest with us and did everything possible to try to save our 27 year old air conditioner. He was very professional and straightforward, and answered all my questions.
Description of Work: our air conditioner was noisy and very old. tech came out to check to see if anything could be done.

Description of Work: Used to repair heat exchanger on Furnace in Nora Springs Iowa. repaired heat exchanger under warranty. Initial repair was under warranty. Wire was loose after repair. During winter came right back out and repaired no charge. good timely service in a small town 20 miles away from their office.

Description of Work: Installed new natural gas furnace. Thought all was fine until 2 years later doing new bath install and different contractor pointed out illegal connections that were unsafe gas to copper line unsafe not to code. Contacted Johnson Heating spoke with employee never got a call back.

Description of Work: furnice quit working called for service they came out restarted . They changed filter restarted furnice charged 80 dollars furnice went out again that nite tempertures droped below 32 degrezz that nite. This was at my 68 year old sisters home she called anouther hearing an air con. co.how came right out restarted the furnice an said it was filthy dirty with dust and pet hair the furnice had two cracks in it an would need to be replaced the next day the furnice died . they broght in two elec. heaters for my an her pet replaced the furnice on that monday. They did'nt charge my sister any extra for the weekend work thats what you call customer service .Tihis is the second time we recived poor service frome Johnson heating an air con. A few years ago my exniter went out on my furnice in the middle of winter they replaced it no problem good job but two days later the exniter went out again they came right out an fixed it again . And they charged me again it was there fault they touched the exniter on the end an it shorted out hello !! they said it was there error so why would you try to charge me again ???? I'll recomend them to anyone ever!

 + -1 moreEverything went well. I trust this company. The employee's are dedicated and very polite and courteous. All the mess from the installation was cleaned up and the old appliances were hauled away.
Description of Work: If you want a company that does things right, this is the company you should go with. They set very good expectations regarding installation and there are no surprises after the installation. They have gone over and above in my opinion. In the past 2 years, they have installed a new Bryant furnace and air conditioner as well as a gas on demand water heater. The advice that I got from Tony and his employee's were open and honest. Everything they told me came true, my heating and cooling costs have been reduced by 35 percent. My Utility company contacted me and said I was on a schedule to replace my meters, but I think it was because of low usage. I explained this to them but the meter was still changed. I am still enjoying the monthly savings that will pay for everything that was installed in short order.

 + -1 moreI contacted this company because the chain stores have no clue on how to do a custom job like mine. (Plus I like to buy local.) As said above, these guys did everything they said they would and exceded my expectations. This was a December install. The temp outside was very cold here in Iowa. In anticipation of the install, I heated the house up to 85 before they got here. Turns out that I didn't need to do that. The install was very quick.
Description of Work: This job was perfomed in conjunction with me hiring another company to insulate my walls and attic. They installed the new furnace and air unit in my house. I have no basement, so the venting was a challenge . The install went great and very fast. They had a plan in place and did a great job! I had a 30 year old Lenox furnace and was blowing half my heat outside. The new 90% furnace and air unit has cut my bill in half. This job is paying for itself and I would encourage people in doubt to look and this company for guidence. This is a great company that cares about the end user. I have not had a single issue post installation, everything works great! They have no marketing department, most of their business is from word of mouth like mine here on this list. I would recomend them to anyone, large and small.
