Hannah was able to come to the house the same morning and fix the problem in under an hour. Foster Heating was backed up for a week! I'd easily call them again.

Not good. The service was not good at all and the information about getting a new toilet was untrue, We have since had 2 other professionals out to look at the flooring and the toilet but, they talked my wife into letting them install a new one based on the information they told her.

It went well. Repairman fixed the problem quickly, but it didn't stay fixed. I called the next day and he had pulled the record on when they had installed the toilet originally. Since it was still under their warranty my service call(s) were free. Decided to replace the part as repair was not a good option.

The job was done quickly and very well. The plumber who came to the house was prompt and very professional. As a single woman living alone, I appreciated the professional uniform and clearly marked truck. The job was done quickly and when the plumber was done, he expressed appreciation for calling Hanna Plumbing and presented me with a refrigerator magnet and mitten to be used for dusting. He explained that the dust mitten was made by the owner's mother, and it was presented to new clients to thank them for their business. It was a sweet gesture that made me feel like this business was local and cared about making a positive impression. I had worked with other plumbers in town and felt that Hanna Plumbing cared about being a credible, quality business.

I had some trouble with a basement floor drain backing up a few times in August. Again my better judgment from a previous mediocre experience, I called Hanna. The gentleman who came was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and was able to get the drain flowing again by plunging it. I thought all was well. Two days later I came downstairs to find it flooded again. I vacuumed it up and plunged the drain again. I called Hanna and left a voicemail. Two hours later my basement flooded again. I vacuumed it up and plunged the drain agin. I called Hanna, left another voicemail and informed them the situation was now an emergency. They NEVER called back. Not the next day, not the next week...NEVER. I called another establishment who came out and fixed the problem that day. I emailed Victoria Hanna as she had emailed me an invoice and strongly and professionally indicated my displeasure. I received no response. I cannot BELIEVE a business would ignore a customer in need this way.

They were just available. Tim Hanna grew up in Robins so I knew him from when he was a kid. They were professional and they did an excellent job. They were very prompt in what they did. They did not charge me more than what they estimated. They did exactly what they said they would do and they did it in the right amount of time.

The appointment time was 8:30AM; the person arrived 8:55. The installation went smoothly; the person did work pretty fast. He finished at 10:30 so it is a little over 1.5 hours, but he billed me 2.5 hours at $89/hr! I will not use their service any more.

I chose Hanna Plumbing for my job even though they were the highest of three estimates I received. One of the main reasons I chose them was they were the only outfit to include a dryer vent as part of their estimate. Office personnel, management and plumber were all very courteous and friendly. The day the job was to begin the plumber showed up two hours late. This didn't bother me since I had taken the entire day off work anyway, but it is worth mentioning. He stated to me he was having trouble finding a good path for the dryer vent. I suggested the vent go out the front of the house. I was told this was not possible because we'd run into the cement porch. The plumber continued with the rest of the work and we agreed to worry about the dryer vent at a later time. Due to his late arrival, the job could not be finished in one day. He returned the next day and completed most of the job. The plumbing and drainage all worked fine, the error made by the previous owner in draining the water softener was corrected and the new 50 gal. water heater was installed and working properly. He left without resolving the dryer vent issue. The next day I spoke with the manager, Jim, who stated he would call early the next week to arrange a time to install the dryer vent. I told him that was fine since my new washer and dryer had not been delivered yet. The next week came and went without a call. After doing some research I felt that I could do the dryer vent myself and I started to consider doing so and having Hanna just bill me for the work done so far. After measuring I found there was plenty of room to vent the dryer out the front of my house without running into the cement porch. I decided to do that part of the job myself. I called Jim and told him I was going to do the vent myself and to please take that off my bill and send me a final invoice for the job. While I had him on the phone I informed him I had measured and found there was more than enough room to install the vent in the front of the house. He said he knew that, but assumed I would not want it there. I don't know why he assumed that when it was what I had requested in the first place. Hanna did send me a final bill and credited me $105 for the dryer vent. I am pretty sure I should have received a larger credit than this when you consider the parts and labor, but I wanted to be done with it so I did not argue this point. I generally liked the folks at Hanna and would probably give them an opportunity to bid on a project again, if there ever is one. But they didn't do enough for me to say they would be my first choice next time.

Plumber arrived ontime. Installed bathtub spout. This was a rental unit a couple weeks later the tenant indicated water was spraying out from behind the tub. When the plumber came back out to fix the problem he charged me for a second time.

The appointment was set quickly and a plumber was dispatched to my home promptly. Rich, the plumber, started into the job and, judging by the grunts and groans coming from my bathroom during the job, I could tell it wasn't going well. Two hours later, the plumber told me that he had accidentally cracked the tank of my toilet. The plumber cleaned up and left with the broken tank and instructions to find a replacement tank. The accident is forgivable - the follow-up behavior of the office people, however, was certainly not. Weeks pass. Several phone calls later, I realize that Hanna Plumbing is quite unresourceful. As I waited for the good news, I did my own search of internet sites, searching for a replacement tank for my toilet. I was able to identify at least two suppliers who claimed to have a replacement tank. I shared this information with Hanna, who still had not made any progress on the search. A week later, I hear that the replacement tank is on its way! Weeks pass. When the tank arrived, I again set an appointment with my now familiar plumber, Rich. When I finally saw the tank, it was the wrong color! Close, but no cigar. It was, however, the correct model, so Rich installed the tank, so that we would have a working toilet, while we seek a better solution. Again, Rich leaves with instructions to find a replacement (tank or entire toilet) in any suitable. Weeks pass. Phone calls to the office yield very little in the way of progress, save a possible source of the right color tank located thousands of miles away in Florida. However, it would have taken a week or more to confirm the unit was in stock and the correct color. Needless to say, I was not game. Instead, I asked to speak with the owner, Tim Hanna. I was encouraged that he was interested enough to speak with me about this situation. This encouragement was quickly turned to dismay, as Tim and I spoke. He complained to me that he could not afford to pay for expensive replacement parts and repeated visits to my house, but admitted that his insurance paid for such errors and omissions. Weeks pass. More phone calls to the office exposed a problem in their ability to find a suitable replacement toilet. In the end, I once again, had to step in to assist with the search. After a brief internet search, I identified several suppliers of a suitable replacement toilet, and eagerly supplied this information for an immediate purchase. This was not to be, however. Another call to Mr. Hanna yielded more complaints about the cost of doing business. At the end of the conversation, we agreed to split the cost of a new replacement toilet. Weeks pass. Finally, when the new unit arrived, it was installed and it works. I was billed for half of the toilet and the initial visit labor, which I consider a bad business move, as it left a bad taste in my mouth after a bad experience. I ended up paying the bill, just to get this experience behind me, but I remain disappointed.

Response from HANNA PLUMBING & HEATING INC
My name is Tim Hanna. I was told of a bad report on Angie's List. This report came from a customer that had an outdated toilet. We were called to repair a leaking toilet tank. Rich, our service tech, proceeded to replace the close coupler rubber kit on the toilet. He tried over and over to get it to stop leaking. He kept pulling the tank trying to snug up the bolts to further compress the gaskets. There must have been a slight crack in the tank because before he could get it to seal, the tank cracked further. Rich explained to the customer what had happened and contacted me to see what to do. I told Rich to tell the homeowner that the serilian blue toilet hadn't been available for 20 years. I was able to find a white toilet for $800, our cost, that would work on the wall carrier or a black toilet that would also work for $1,600 our cost. He wanted the black toilet and wanted me to pay for it. I agreed to pay for the white toilet or 50% of the black toilet. He went on the internet and found a salvage company in California that indicated they had the serilian blue tank and lid for $650 plus shipping. I agreed to order this toilet tank and that I would pay for it. The tank came in and Rich installed it. The colors didn't match perfectly so the customer wouldn't accept it. The other fixtures in the bathroom, by the way, are avacado green. We left the tank in so they had a usable toilet until they decided what they wanted to do. They decided to pay for half of the black toilet. The toilet was ordered and installed when it arrived. When it was all said and done, we were out $1,600 in parts and $500 in labor. Our out of pocket expense to take care of a customer who had an outdated product that no other contractor in the area would have even worked on. Now, I find they have posted a bad report on Angie's List so that they can bad mouth our company after we worked diligently to take are of them as we do for all of our customers. We have worked very hard to be the top service company in our area. In a matter of seconds, these people that we bent over backwards were able to trash us on your site. Tim Hanna

They did a great job.
Description of Work: I had some old exterior faucets that were leaking and needed to be replaced. I called them and they were out the next morning. The repair person called upon arrival, replaced the faucets, and called again upon completion. The bill was higher than I expected but the service was worth it.
