D & B Tree Service

Darwin is such a professional and helpful individual. He helped me trims some trees in my backyard and helped to grind away stumps as well. He did everything to ensure the driveway and yard never got beat up or damaged. He even laid down plywood to not leave any ruts. I'd defiantly recommend giving him a call.

Darwin was responsive to my calls and showed up right on our scheduled time. He worked around some challenges I had (neighbor's camper in the driveway) and was able to turn what was becoming a really tall ash bush back into a tree again. I had previously received an estimate from my former tree guy, and D&B was right in line. They cleaned up after themselves to the point that it is hard to tell they were there. They're very good and reliable people. I've had them 4 or 5 years ago. The approximate cost of the estimate was $155. They're honest people.

Very worker, Good workmanship

Darwin did an excellent job communicating his arrival time to remove dead tree stump and shrubs. Quoted price was same as actual price of job which was very reasonable. Job was done promptly and no debris remained. We'll be using D&B next year to help with landscape clean-up again.

I have used D and B several times over the last few years and have always been pleased with their work. They always make sure that the debris is removed so that I do not have to wrestle the debris out to the curb. The yard is very tidy after they are here, and the trees look more graceful after overgrowing limbs are trimmed back. They are on my speed dial...they do a great job.

The guys at Dand B Tree Service did good work, exactly when and how they indicated that they would. I would recommend them to someone else looking to have trees removed.

The best contracts don't need Dos and Don'ts. Dand B will come to your location and give you a fair estimate. They provide a date as to when the work will be done. They will come to complete the work on the date agree to. They will do the work with high quality. They will clean the area up and leave. They will send you a bill. End of story.

Darwin and his employee, Roger, did an excellent job with trimming two maple trees. He was on time for both the estimate and the day of work. His equip was was in good shape. I had no issues with obtaining cetificates of insurance to verify liability and workman compensation coverage. I will call Dand B Tree the next time I need tree work.

I called a few recommended vendors listed by Angie's list for an estimate. Only Dand B Tree Service and one other person provided an estimate, both of which were promptly offered (a couple of days). The Dand B Tree Service estimate was significantly lower than the other estimate and compared very favorably with other tree removal services I have contracted. Removing the Dutch Elm was $200. The stump removal cost $320 for 7 or 8 stumps. The removal of the junipers was $350 and they topped the red cedar for just $15. The work was completed in one day, about two weeks after receiving the estimate. I wasn't in a hurry, so the a quicker timing wasn't important to me. The guy doing the service cleaned up the property to my satisfaction. They only negative I can think of is that it was hard to make contact to go over what was to be done between receiving the estimate and doing the job. I had to trust my wife that she had gone over everything when meeting Dand B for the estimate and asked all the questions I would have. In the end, I would not hesitate to contact Dand B Tree Service if I had a need for their services.

The estimate was completed quickly and professionally. All details were reviewed thoroughly. We received a call the night before to ensure it was ok to take the tree down the next day (Weds.) Other jobs took longer than expected, so we were notified that work would be completed on Thurs, which it was. The crew did a wonderful job. They do an awesome job of cleaning up. A separate person came back later to grind the stump. This is the second time we have used Dand B and we were very satisfied!

Phone call requesting an estimate was promptly returned and an appointment scheduled for a convenient time the next evening. While more expensive than the other bids we received, we felt Dand B had the right equipment to do the job and understood what we wanted done. They were also and a member of the BBB with a good record. The trees look great, they took care around our other landscaping (some hostas at the base of the tree) and they did a great job cleaning up.
