Carpet King Carpet One Floor & Home

Description of Work: This was the first time we purchased from them. We were looking for a hard surface floor to cover our kitchen, dining room, bathroom and hallway area. The salesman showed me many different options and allowed me to take as many of them home as I needed, which I appreciated. When we decided on our option, I placed our order and I told them I wanted extra planks of the pieces in case it got damaged and I had to replace it. I didn't want to find out later that this flooring had been discontinued. Our installer came out and started to install it and on day two, told us he had run out of planks. Funny, since I told them I wanted lots of extra. We had all our furniture in our living room while they were laying the floor so now he said it would be a day or two to get more in. We waited and waited and almost a week passed and we heard nothing. Finally I called them and they said that it had arrived and our installer would call us. Not good customer service! He came back out and installed the rest of the floor finally. They also decided not to pull up the old floor and just lay boards over the top which we were told was going to be cheaper for us yet our invoice was not changed to reflect this change. The flooring around the edges looks ridged and torn which the installer said was because the saw doesn't cut this type of board smoothly. I wish I would have know, I would have bought something different. The installer dabbed some furniture stain on it to cover it up. I thought the installer did an excellent job but we won't be going back to Carpet King - we didn't matter to them.
