Apple Kids

My husband and I were very disappointed with Apple Kids. In an attempt to find Childcare for our daughter, we contacted Apple Kids. After several email and phone attempts we finally got a response. A one line reply stating "Sure, we have room. It'll be $XXX/week. If you want to set up a visit please stop by the office." The people we spoke to on the phone were very unfriendly and not helpful. We were very frustrated and ended up looking for alternative care.

Apple Kids is wonderful! The adults truly care for the children and know all of the children by name - even the ones not in their class. They are always smiling and give and quot;negativeand quot; feedback about the children (i.e. if the child behaved badly that day) in a positive coaching manner. My younger child is not yet potty trained and the teachers have been supportive but not pushy, offering advice and suggestions that are very helpful. The only criticism that my husband and I have is that the owner of the day care, Kendran, posts passive-aggressive notes on the doors for everyone to see, that don't apply to everyone. For example, we pay our tuition every Monday via bank draft, so we have never missed. Yet there are constantly notes on the doors about her not being able to conduct business properly due to not receiving tuition in a timely manner, etc. We would prefer that she bring up the issues privately with the parents in question, not post notes to be seen by all.
