We have followed Chris's advice and now have NO wasps. I am so impressed that a company would rather give honest advice that solves a problem for free than take advantage of a homeowner who knows nothing about extermination. I'm sure other companies would have offered me a package of services knowing it wouldn't really help. These guys have Integrity with a capital "I" and should I have a pest problem in the future, I will definitely call them again.

Chris did inside spraying and outside. The outside was done to kill the colony within 10 days. The inside was done in order to keep the ants from entering until the colony was dead. We noticed an IMMEDIATE change. After 10 days, we have not seen an ant since!

They were wonderful. They called. They came when they said they would be here. They did what they were supposed to do. They were very courteous. They get straight A's.

Provider came over same day & treated for the mice.

If we start seeing creepy crawlies, they will come back and do it for free. I found them on Angie's List. They are punctual. They are pretty informative and thorough. There was one time when we had to have them come back and they didn’t charge us. They are always on time and not early.

I called their office explained my problem and was given an appointment immediately. The person I spoke with was very helpful and explained who would be coming out, what my cost would be and that they would get rid of my problem. The technician "Robby" showed up the same day that I called and was actually early. This guy is an expert at what he does and actually found the entry point and source of my problem in practically no time. He treated the entire property and even told me how to stop a moisture issue I had with a furnace. I went over to the property four days after his initial treatment and not one live ant was in found any where. He will be back in the spring to follow up because it was below freezing outside and he wants to treat the perimeter of the property so I won't have this problem reappear. If you ever have a pest problem these are the people to call. I have learned over time that nothing out weighs experience and this guy has been doing this kind of work for over 30 plus yrs. Thanks

He said he would. They had told me his name so I knew who to expect. He explained what he was going to do and got busy doing just that. It took about 45 minutes to spray. I did purchase the package that they will also spray again in the summer and then again in the fall.

Des Moines Pest Control was okay. The only thing that I didn't like was the price. Everything else was okay.

I have used Des Moines Pest Control at 3 different properties. I originally called them five years ago to help with an ant problem we had at our first home. The ant problem was much worse than we had imagined. Chris came to our home, researched the issue, and was very thurough in explaining how he would treat the problem. Because our problem was so bad, he came back out two weeks later, free of charge, and treated again. We signed up for the seasonal program to ensure our ant problem didn't return. And it never did. Chris sprays the outside and inside of our house. He looks for areas where ants, insects, pests are active in our yard and treats those areas as well. Chris even sprayed for bees on one of his visits because we advised him we had noticed several bees in our backyard. He didn't charge us extra. When we moved into our new home two years ago, we immediately had Des Moines Pest control start spraying at our new home. Chris put out mice traps in our garage because we were in a new development with a lot of empty overgrown lots in the area. I compared several companies before chosing Des Moines Pest Control. They are the best value I could find. Everyone in the company is friendly, professional, and dedicated to providing outstanding service. I trust their employees to be in my home even when I am home alone, and I normally make my husband stay home with me if we are having other work done at our house. Also, their products are pet friendly which is important to me because I have three cats. I recommend Des Moines Pest Control to all my friends and family. They are a family business who will go out of their way to meet all of your needs. If you chose Des Moines Pest Control you will not be disappointed.

They came out and set traps for the mice. We were so glad the traps were cat safe so we didn't have to worry about our kitty getting poisoned!

On my Initial phone call I talked to a knowledgable person who made me feel confident that they had expertise and experience in this area. She made arrangements for the technician to come out. The technician seemed to be aware of my situation and was knowledgeable in treating the ants. He was also very professional in his appearance and attitude. This is a family run company and even their vehicle was a late model van. I would use them again.

Rob was very nice and professional. He was here in early March. He explained that we would still see a few spiders for a couple of weeks but then they should be gone. He was right. I haven't seen a spider in a month. In the week before he had been here, I had seen two large wolf spiders in the basement. Glad they are gone! I signed a contract to have them come 3 times/year for maintenance.

They call us to let us know when they are coming out. They will sometimes come inside to treat. They leave the bill at our house. They come out when they tell us that they will.

We like everything about them. We have them out quarterly for prevention service. They apply indoors and out around the foundation. They also do mouse prevention in the garage.

We haven't had any issues since they started coming to our house. Robbie is very knowledgable about all sorts of pests. Bait traps are child and pet friendly. Robbie has a particular aversion to mice and definitely loaded up the garage with bait traps, which totally eliminated the "mice activity" we were seeing within a week. He does like to chat, though, so be sure to allot plenty of time for his visit. He's readily available, which is what you want when you have uninvited guests that have taken up residence in your house. Customer service is excellent.
