The project turned out great.

It went fine.

I requested that my gutters be cleaned last fall. In February a cleaner knocked on the door. I said I had expected him months ago. He said they were "running a little behind."

My gutters fell off the house. When I called them they came out and told me that they had originally put them on and that it would be replaced for free. They were actually guaranteed not to fall off. No money exchanged hands and the work was done the day after they came out. They did a pretty good job. It would be hard to improve on the job that they did.

The walls haven't moved a fraction since then. I have a colleague who is picky and was also happy with the work they did. There was a lot involved in the job, a fair amount of time and I thought the price was fair. They had specialized equipment on the job and the workmen seemed to be very knowledgeable about what they were doing with the whole system. They really seemed to know what the were doing, what made it work and had the physical strength to do the work and made it work. You couldn't just turn any kind of labor loose on this work. We also called them for gutter replacements. They do a lot of things and seem to be a real competent shop.

We moved into our new "old" house in the summer of 2004. The previous owner assured us the basement was dry. The first big rain storm caused the basement to flood with 4 inches of water! I had used Tomlinson Cannon for new rain gutters on the house in August, 2004 and was happy with the work, so I called them for an estimate on the basement waterproofing. The representative came and gave me an estimate and we set a work date. The workers came on time every day and completed each stage as promised. They cut a "moat around the perimeter of the basement on the first day, then installed drainage tile then filled in with concrete to level with the existing floor on the second day. Workers were in and out in 2 days as promised. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. This was a really messy, dirty job, but I was so happy with the end result. And our basement has not flooded since!

It's been awhile since I had this work done, but I remember it as a good experience and I am very happy with the result. Because of the steep pitch of our roof, we needed larger gutters and downspouts. TC came for an estimate one day after I called. The work was set up for the following week and completed in one day. All material was cleaned up and our yard was left as it was before they came. I really like these guys. And I think they have fair prices.

We were gathering estimates for several repair jobs to our home - mainly installing a waterproofing system in our leaking basement, piering some sagging mid-beams, and piering a foundation wall. TCC came out to look at the house and give an estimate. The guy was not very friendly or talkative, no eye contact, etc. Said he needed to come back with his plumber to look at moving some pipes for the mid-beam work. Never came back, never returned my calls.

It didn't.

I called, left a message saying I needed my gutters cleaned. Workers came when I was not at hom, got to work and did the job.

Met on time. Looked over the building and spotted many cracks that I hadn't seen. Agreed to spend up to $800 to fix cracks starting with most agregious and moving to least severe until $800 is used up. Actually spent ~$700. Also, took good care to match colors. Would use foundation repair service again. During the quoting process, per his suggestion, I allowed him to look around all association property to provide quotes on other items.
