Excellent service. Fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. She also helped me problem solve the unrelated problem with the dishwasher. A quick on line search with her guidance got us to a quick resolution and functioning dishwasher. Very happy with this service. I've definitely found my go to plumber.

We got a new electric dryer, replacing our old gas dryer. We needed to remove and plug the old gas flex hose, but I couldn't remove the old flex gas hose from the gas pipe. It was really on there!! Neither could either of the washer dryer install guys, and they were stronger than me. I called and emailed Ginny (she tells you her email address on her voicemail). When she's out and about she doesn't get the messages on her office phone. But she responded to my email almost instantaneously! She said she was available to come over right now, and she was here in 15 minutes. She put her two big pipe wrenches on the stuck nuts, used a third wrench as leverage between the handles of the first two, and pried the nuts loose in seconds. She had the line plugged and job completely done in less than 10 minutes. Ginny has done work for us before. She is amazingly responsive, prompt, and fast. She has to be my favorite plumber in the world. I will call her again and again.

Ginny is great. We originally were just going to fix a leaky faucet but then my wife and I decided to upgrade and just get a new one. Ginny worked with us for about a week and a half to find what we wanted! She was very prompt, the time she said she would be here was the time she got here! The cost may look like a lot just for a faucet but we did buy an expensive one! We will definitely be using her again in the future!

Ginny was excellent in every way. She contacted me quickly after my inquiry and when we set up a time for the work to be done, she showed up right on time. She did a great job installing the new garbage disposal, refitted some pipes so that the installation was up to code, and did a very clean, professional job. She also removed a toilet, carefully capping off the water supply and plugging the waste pipe. She was great to talk to, asked for my help appropriately, and did an excellent job on both projects. I'm looking forward to hiring her soon for more projects and I recommend her very highly!

Ginny was amazing - she came through despite unforeseeable difficulty with the frozen pipes (in an outside wall supplying a bathroom). She prioritized taking care of our issue and made several return trips to see it through to resolution. She was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions while working on the other tasks on the first day. She went above and beyond by throwing in a nozzle for access to water when the whole house must be shut off and by installing better shutoffs, improving upon the old style that wears out more easily. When it became clear our frozen pipes had been isolated by a minor renovation done by the previous home owners before selling, Ginny took a low-cost and low-impact approach to get warm air to the pipes. They turned out to be damaged once the ice thawed and she gave us options for solutions ranging from greatest long-term effectiveness to most affordable. Ginny was friendly, collaborative and willing to see things through even as the unexpected seemed to demand more and more of her time. Ginny was a pleasure to work with, on the job and in correspondence, responding to my emails and helping me understand what to expect. I expected to pay much more because she had originally estimated a full day's work at $500 and in the end we had her for almost two full days on top of additional materials we ended up needing. I was very surprised when I received the bill for only $795. We anticipate calling on her in the future to replace old CPVC plumbing per her recommendations, some of which we've already experienced leaks with. Thank you Ginny!
Description of Work: Installed a Tee and shutoff prior to water softener Replaced small section of old plastic & steel supply pipes with copper and added a new whole-house shutoff Threw in a handy nozzle prior to new shutoff for water access when house is shutoff Installed new kitchen faucet, drinking water spigot and outdoor spigot Replaced damaged T-joint from frozen pipes and improved ventilation to prevent future freezing

Description of Work: Ginny pulled the toilet and replaced the wax ring. she also replaced the toilet flapper then put a bead of silicone around the base of the toilet where it meets the floor. she was on time, courteous and professional and left no evidence of having even been in my bathroom except for the light smell of the caulk.

We have used Rosewater (Ginny Blair) for many years (20+) now. She is very responsive to calls and sticks to the time she gives you. I have found her to be easy to deal with and quite fair in how she handles clients. We have not used Ginny for any "major" jobs such as remodeling so my comments pertain only to "routine" plumbing maintenance.

Excellent service. I received notice from the city water service that there was an unusually high water usage at our home for month of August. A city inspector came and could not find a definite leak but made several suggestions to check. I looked on Angie's list and called Rose Water Plumbers because of a high grade on Angie's list and many positive comments. Ginny called back within an hour and came by about an hour later. She fixed a leaky outside spigot (that leaked only when turned on with a hose), replaced potentially leaking parts in toilet tanks and also replaced some shut off valves that were non-working. She added a shut-off valve in the basement. She worked very efficiently and had all the parts she needed in her truck. Very pleasant and efficient. Would highly recommend her.

Ginny came by to give me an estimate about a week before the actual work was done. (She was ill during the interim). She called me 2 days before coming to do the actual work, and arrived promptly on the designated day. She was neat and efficient in her work, cleaned up any mess and picked up all debris. She was polite and as unobtrusive as possible. My new faucets are lovely and work well. I am very pleased overall; and I was also very happy to have the chance to employ a woman.

Ginny told me where to pick out a faucet and she picked it up.She arrived on time and got immediately to work installing the faucet. I have used Rosewater Plumber for more than 30 years. Usually she replaces faucets I have broken. I was impressed the first time when she put down a towel on the floor in front of my bathroom sink and put her tools on the towel. No mess, no fuss. As a one-person business Rosewater often has to schedule routine services a while ahead of time. But on the scheduled day she comes on time and gets in and out in a flash. When matters are more urgent, she usually makes time to get on the job within the day. She is pleasant to work with and she has a loyal following in the area. People talk about "calling Ginny."

I had two contacts with Rose Water that were both negative. I, of course, have no problem with businesses who do not want to (or can't) take on new clients--however, I *do* have problems when a business blatantly harasses customers for just trying to do business with them. Furthermore, in an emergency situation when we are sending out the "distress call" to find a professional that can help, the last thing a customer needs is someone causing more stress by calling and berating us for seeking help for our problem. 1. First, she called me and told me she didn't want my business. When the person who returned my email the next morning told me flat-out that she "wasn't interested in [my] business" and only wanted to work with the customers she had, this wasn't even so terrible. 2. Then she contacted me *again* a few hours later (though I had not contacted her) and asked me if I "worked for Angie's List." When I told her that I was a customer, she replied "don't ever call me again." !!! Wow, did that come out of the blue! Not only was the person rude, unprofessional, and combative--she implied that I (or AngiesList) had done something wrong by just seeking out her services.called me back again and said to "never call again." It was clear she was confused as to whom she had contacted or previously called before, etc but this created a negative experience during an already stressful time. So, bottom line no need to call her since she doesn't want any new customers. :) And save yourself the trouble of being berated by this company for trying to spend money with them.
Description of Work: Upon discovering water intrusion in the basement, late in the evening one night recently, I immediately jumped onto AngiesList to find the best plumbers to handle the problem! :) Rose Water was one of approximately three companies I contacted that evening to see who would be available to help us out in an emergency situation. I was looking for next-morning service if possible since the water was coming into the home and we were unable to turn the water off or find the direct source of the leak--so I immediately called one service and emailed two others (one of which was Rose Water).

Response from Rose Water Plumbers Inc
I confess to making one return call to the Member, apparently, in an attempt to see if her middle of the night call was the same as an email contact the next morning. The caller id was an 800 number that was answered by Angie's List switchboard so I thought maybe I was talking to someone who could help with my account. I'm not very computer/website savvy but I did figure out right away that I had stepped in the wrong direction! The problem of working out of my home office is that I answer the phone when I am home---my regular customers know this but strangers roaming the internet for referrals don't. Sorry! I am going to try to make my profile more definitive now......No Commercial work, no rental property, no heating or cooling, no plugged sewers..... I have had a very nice word of mouth business of fixing faucets, toilets etc for 35 years now so I'm grateful for nice reviews but it might be a problem with new customers catching me at a bad time! Ginny arrived on time and was well prepared. We encountered another problem under the kitchen sink and she was prepared with all supplies to fix that additional problem as well. She was very good about explaining what she was doing and what things were, as I have no plumbing experience and had only lived in the house 3 weeks. She worked quietly, neatly, and very efficiently. She answered any questions I had and gave advice as to what needed to be done in the future. I will definitely be calling Rose Water Plumbing back for all my plumbing needs.
Description of Work: I had called Ginny to replace a valve under my kitchen sink and also install a dishwasher. After arriving, Ginny also noticed the pipes under the sink were in bad shape and poorly installed. She performed all of this work for me.

On 9/4, water started leaking from my kitchen sink cabinet, which was coming from the garbage disposer. Ginny said the problem was that the drain work from the disposer out to the sewer line hadn't been constructed properly, which left water sitting inside. This caused the disposer material to deteriorate and leak. She said that if I wanted to have a functional garbage disposer, the drain would require significant replumbing (within the wall). I elected to not do that and had her remove it (which I didn't use that much anyway). She was very pleanst to work with, and I felt I would enjoy her as a friend!
Description of Work: Ginny came the next day after I called her. She diagnosed the problem with my garbage disposal, which required its removal and some replumbing. Everything is working well without problems.
