Gave me a very fair estimate on all 6 trees. Showed up at the exact time told. It was amazing for me to watch how much work was involved in tree trimming. The job took 2 days and trees were trimmed beautifully and they completely cleaned up any excess from the tree afterwards. And I got a truck load of wood chips for our garden. Bonus! Thank you so much!

We actually had tried to hire Mick to take down an almost 60-ft-tall tree that fell over in a storm the year before, and had he been available, we would have saved a LOT of money! We paid another company $3000 to remove the tree (it had to be done quickly as it was lying on top of our neighbor's roof), but Mick would have done the job for around $1000. Sadly, he wasn't available that day. He's very down-to-earth, reliable, and has excellent prices.

I was happy with the results.

General Tree Service has been my go-to tree people for a while, but they are very, very hard to get ahold of. Most contacts involved leaving multiple voicemails over several days before receiving a return call. After getting a quote this spring, I tried to contact them to actually have the work done, and have never gotten a response. I left daily messages for 2 weeks before giving up. Several months later, I really need to tree removed as part has broken off, but once again I can't contact them. Their work is excellent and well-priced, but be advised you'll need to jump through a lot of hoops to even contact them.

Everythign went very well, no surprises, and they went above and beyond what we had asked for to be done!

They were very clean and fast. The guy knew how to prune trees because a lot of people actually don't know what they are doing when they prune trees. It's kind of a family run operation.

He told me he would like to do the work the following Saturday at 10AM. He said by doing the work on Saturday he could do it himself and he wouldn't have to pay anyone. I wanted it done sooner, but I agreed to this because he was a local small businessman. At 10:30AM on that following Saturday he had not yet shown up. I called the land line phone number and he answered. He told me he was busy bidding other work, he had to go to the gym on Saturdays, and he didn't really make much money doing stump removal anyways. He said he still planned on being here, but it wouldn't be until this afternoon. I told him I no longer wanted him to do the work. I contacted another company to perform the work.
