Garrett Construction Company

When I first contacted Russ Garrett, the owner, he was very pleasant and professional. I told him about the project and we set up a time to meet and discuss the project in detail. The meeting went well and took about 45 minutes. He had a lot of insight and great ideas. At the end of the meeting, he said it would take a week to get the estimate complete. The meeting was at the end of May. A week later, I still hadn't heard from him so I emailed and inquired about the estimate. I didn't get a reply, so I emailed a week later. He finally replied and stated he hadn't started on the estimate but would be in touch later that week. At the end of the week, he sent a basic mock up and said he would be in touch soon. Two more weeks went by without hearing anything from him. I finally emailed him again and still haven't heard a thing. So it's been over 5 weeks and I still haven't gotten the estimate that he promised in 1 week. I finally gave up on him and called a couple of other contractors that got me estimates in less than a week.I'm sure he's a good contractor, but his lack of communication is definitely a concern.
