+ -1 moreThese two guys are strong on relationship management--a rare thing in the small-job construction business. They ask good questions to determine expectations upfront and they do answer the phone or call back immediately, and their work is good. They quote fair prices--but certainly not the lowest. They do the work as scheduled and don't make excuses. If you don't like what they do, they will make it right without complaining. Overall, they get a better than average rating. What keeps them from and quot;Aand quot; ratings everywhere is that they described things they can do (filling cracks in the wood) indicating they will do that--but then did not do that. I had was happily surprised when they said this was included in the quote, but it didn't happen. They did offer to power wash our patio at no charge since they had the machine available, however. They also grossly over estimated the quantity of stain needed They thought it would be 7 or 8 gallons. It turned out to be under 5 gallons, but fortunately we could return unused paint to Menards--even the gallon that was opened and slightly used. These guys are fun--and they talk a lot! After all, they really are and quot;Good Ole Boysand quot;!

+ 0 moreThe only contractor (carpenter/handyman) I have ever had that was responsive to phone calls and showed up when they said they would!
Description of Work: Great guys to work with! They did their best to put new railing on a poorly built deck. I put the overall experience as "Good" just because I wish the rail could have ended up a bit stiffer but it was through no fault of the Good ol Boys, they had a bad design to work with. They were here when they said they would be. Came back when they said they would come back. Did the work as described and as estimated. Any changes were run by me for approval before they did anything. Get the Good ol Boys and you won't be sorry!

Description of Work: I had the come to my farm, they are right next door. They helped repair my barn because of all the snow. They even help clear a better path for me. I have checked around other services was going to cost me $500.00. Terry and James did it for half, can you belive thay half. I paid for the wood, and they only charged me 50.00 for labor. I was so happy. I would recomend them to everyone.
