Our breeze-way now has standing water when we have moderate to a lot of rain. After it rains, we cannot walk out our back door to our garage without walking through a puddle of inch deep water. The puddle can be as long as four feet and as wide as a two feet. Sometimes after an especially heavy rain, we will have two areas of standing water, with one extending for three to five feet long, the other covering a couple of feet in the corner of the porch. We cannot store items on the porch without risking that they will get wet. Initially Mr. Johnson promised to come back and fix the problem so that we would not have water in the breeze-way. However, he has refused for almost two years to make the job right and fix the problem. He will not repair the breeze-way so that we do not have standing water. He will not return phone calls nor will he come out to make repairs. Mr. Johnson has not given us the promised “dedication to quality, craftsmanship and the ability to provide customer satisfaction” that he advertises.
Description of Work: We hired Earthworths to fix a drainage problem in our back patio area. Tim Johnson personally bid the job and assured us that he would fix the problems and that we would not have any drainage issues or standing water when he was finished. He tore up the existing patio and breeze-way and installed a new drainage system and a new concrete patio and breeze-way. He was hired to provide an effective and aesthetic solution to a water drainage problem. He was an expert and we relied on his advice. Mr. Johnson personally supervised and was at the worksite when the job was being poured and he worked alongside his crew.
