Cabinets Galore

We really had a good experience with the Cabinets Galore crew in Hiawatha for our kitchen remodel this last fall for the following reasons: Patience - first and foremost! We knew we wanted new cabinets with some specific features, but we didn't know what we really wanted as far as color, door style, etc. They spent a good deal of time asking us how we wanted to use the kitchen (entertainment kitchen, daily use kitchen, etc), what our budget was, how we "honestly" would use the kitchen (stuff that may look nice in the showroom may not be practical for daily use). They walked us through the pros/cons of the various wood species and cabinet features. Finally, they were a great sounding board for us once we narrowed down our choices...what color combinations actually worked, what really wouldn't work, etc. Flexible - When we remodeled our kitchen, we had a couple of options on how we could have laid out the cabinets. They went through the extra effort of rendering both drawings so we could have an idea of how it might look and how the measurements would actually work with our layout. Detail - They made multiple trips to our house to get the measurements THEY needed. We obviously started with the rough measurements that we brought in, but they made sure they had the measurements they needed to make certain they could deliver the product properly. One of the bits of detail that really made a difference for us was that we had one wall that was going to have bunch of cabinets on it. When they were doing the work to lay out the cabinets on their software, they felt that it looked too "flat". Their suggestion was to place a slightly deeper cabinet at the end of the row of cabinets to give the kitchen a little more "texture". THAT'S what we wanted. Someone to look out for us while doing this. Pricing - We priced cabinets and countertops at a big box store that we felt we could live with. Weren't that excited about them, but they were ok. We really figured Cabinets Galore would be out of reach for our budget. Turns out, they could give us a better quality product, at about the same price and we REALLY like what we purchased from them. We found them to be a great group to work with and highly recommend them.
