+ -1 moreShannon did not try to rip us off by saying we needed added insulation. Any other contractor might I have said yes. I would highly recommend Shannon if you need any additional work done to your home. Provides straight talk and will tell you the truth. Not too many people like this around who will try to make the quick buck.
Description of Work: I inquired about adding insulation to my attic to prevent cold drafts in the house. After he went up to inspect the attic, Shannon informed me that the attic was heavily insulated and that I did not need to purchase any added insulation, except for a few spots.

+ -1 moreAs it turns out, I didn't use the service because the owner suggested I first have Mid-America Energy conduct an audit. They did so and felt that I didn't need additional insulation (which was acutally not true-Mid-America's inspector missed the fact that my kitchen wasn't insulated). I very much appreciated that he didn't try to sell me a service before it was needed. Extremely professional-i wish i had said who cares about mid-america, let's go ahead and have YOU do the audit! Would definitely recommend this company.
Description of Work: I requested an estimate to insulate my garage. The owner was extremely punctual and responsive.

+ -1 moreWe had S&K blow in insulation into our attic. They were professional, clean, and courteous. We had the unfortunate problem of scheduling the installation for the day after the owner's generator blew out. It took a week or so for him to get a new one. Of course, these things happen. What was remarkable was that we were given daily updates about the status of the parts and knew exactly when we were going to get the work done.
Description of Work: Blew in 8 inches of fiberglass insulation into our attic.
