They were initially hired by the general contractor, whom we trusted. They installed the kitchen countertops only so-so, and tried to ignore and fill a major, highly visible, defect with epoxy until the general insisted they put in a new piece of granite. The first tub surround was so poorly done the general arranged they would not charge us for any of the materials or work. We had to find our own subcontractor for the tile - thank goodness we found a very experienced contractor, but we went without the bathrooms for 4 months because of this. Patience helped a great deal. When Quality came to install the bathroom countertops, they were so poorly done that Quality removed them immediately. We had to find another contractor and more granite. To make a long story short, we had to go through small claims court and listen to them blame us for their ineptitude in order to get our deposit money back. We went through the Better Business Bureau process before filing with small claims, and learned they will have a "satisfactory" rating from BBB just because they wrote a response, even though it was not pertinent or helpful. The court system worked well, in our favor. We found, in hiring the replacement contractors, that Quality's bid price was about double what we eventually paid to have the work done with much more professional, qualified contractors. Overpriced.. unprofessional...unskilled..unethical...this is a grade "F" contractor. They did show up punctually, though.

They claimed that the granite was sealed and actually it wasn't. When I met them to get their view on what they felt about the granite, they said that this was not crack and was normal for granite and said it was fission. It was 8 to 9 inches long and there was a hole which was filled with epoxy. They claim nothing will happen to it but refused to give anything in writing to back their words. I am glad that Regency gave us 5 years warranty even though Quality backed out and refused to give warranty. Beware of Cheats. I was glad that we used Regency Builder who has excellent customer service and gave us in writing that if anything happens to that granite countertop because of the crack then they will replace it for us free of cost. I wanted to share my story so I make the potential buyers aware of this company s work ethics and how easily they cut their ties with Regency just to stay away from guaranteeing their work. I will recommend not dealing with this company due to their ethics.
