 + -1 moreWindows are Nu-Vu. The windows were last done probably in 2016. We're only dealing with phenomenal people, so A's straight across the book. The salesmen were very good and the installation people were very efficient. To do the windows we had to go in three different sessions, so it probably took them a day or day and a half for each one. Nu-Vu just does windows.
Description of Work: We replaced windows.

 + -1 moreThe workers were on-time, they worked fast, and kept me informed on their progress and when they'd be finished. The windows look great and work well. They were more expensive than other quotes that we received, but overall the quality and workmanship was very good.

 + -1 moreThey were very honest. The guy that came out to do windows was very nice. He had some trouble with my windows, the insert was all crooked I guess but he ended up figuring it out, fixed it and get it all installed. He was done in two days for seven new windows. They were just very cordial. I have to skip the rebate, I had to call them a couple of times and they sent out what I needed right away. They are very nice to work with. One thing they did not do is to clean up the stuff that was in the windows.
Description of Work: I have gone with the company called Nu-Vu Windows. The last time they installed windows was last February.

 + -1 moreIt was always so cold in this room - especially in the winter when we had to keep the draperies drawn. Already it's a lot better and I'm very happy with the window so far. They were very hard workers and prompt. What they said they'd do and when they'd do it - they did exactly that.
Description of Work: They took out a large window & replaced it with a new, updated window that is better sealed for air loss & that has UV protection so as not to damage furniture.

Description of Work: I had been considering new windows for my garage for quite some time and when a nice, young, ambitious" Cody" cold called at my door, I thought I'd give hiom a chance to bid the project. He explained that he only set the appointments and that an estimator would call next week. I recieved a call from a "salesman" and we set an appointment to look at the job. Perhaps July 5th was not a good choice for the meeting but he agreed to meet me at 11 am. I office from mr residence and was at my desk all day and nobody showed or bothered to call. When I called Nu Vu to inquire about the no show the person with whom I spoke (I asked for the owner) sounded as though I was an inconvenience to him. It was like he recieved a number of these calls daily. He did not even ask if I wanted to re-schedule I don't feel too good about the American worker anyway these days, due to similar situations of trying to get bids, but this company was given a good second chance that they blew. I feel sorry for "Cody" who worked to get the lead and nobody even followed up on it. All I wanted to do was spend my money using their services. Now I'm spending my money joining Angies List to make sure you don't use this company and waste your time/money.

 + -1 moreThe workman was able to start several days before I thought someone would be able to start. The workman did an excellent job. The job took longer than he thought it would because he ran into some problems. I ordered the "Perimeter" "between the glass" grids and my only complaint is that some of the grids were crooked. They ordered replacements and brought them out a couple of weeks later. One of the panes was worse than the original one so I asked them to bring back the original pane. Apparently, the grids start out square but when they get shipped, they "move around". I think the manufacturer try to resolve the problem.
Description of Work: Took out 8 old vinyl windows and 2 glass windows and replaced them with vinyl windows.

 + 0 moreThe windows are of excellent quality. The work was flawless; they cleaned up after themselves. They were concerned about the animals in the house in terms of the animal's safety and the comfort of all occupants. They did excellent work and even offer a referral program. All of the people that I have referred have had the same experience.
