Dan arrived on time and was ready to go before the Realtor or myself had arrived. After the home inspection Dan walked me through the process step by step indicating some of the areas (beginning with the house exterior and ending in the basement) that could be problems or cause problems, in the near future. He explained in detail what damage could result if some of the problems where not repaired or resolved. He also suggested some ways to fix the problems. Dan explained everything in detail. The entire walk through process lasted about one hour. The one glitch were the dead batteries in the computer/blackberry Dan used for printing out the inspection report. However, he did have the hand report as a back-up. It did take him a little extra time to finish the report by hand. Also, I do not believe Dan is certified for termite inspection but I never asked and he never mentioned it.
