I had called John the main guy who is to clear out my elderly relatives drive and walkway each time it snows and to make sure that they have a walking path to take out the trash to the curbside. Also the porches are to be salted and or sanded along with the drive. This year and the past few years that John has been doing this, he has rarely showed up at all. We have called his cell phone number and house number and left messages and no return calls. It's almost like he gets to it when he thinks it is convienient. However my relatives need to get out to get the mail, go to the doctor, and other appointments and John is being paid by the State Of Iowa to do this. The last time he did not even shovel a path to the curbside so my relatives had to trample through the snow to take out the trash. This is a poor excuse for the State Of Iowa contracting unprofessional and sloppy workers who don't care about our elderly folks. We will be finding someone who cares.
