 + -1 moreI contacted them, they came out same day, evaluated the issue with the A/C, made 2 recommendations, which I chose to replace the unit. They ordered the unit, and the next Friday, the installed it and cleaned up all their mess. Unit works great, it is quiet, I got utilitity rebate on the unit, and very happy with the service provided.

Description of Work: They took out the old bathtub and installed a walk in shower. They had to build up the walls and replaster. The plasterer very particular about matching the new plaster with the old. It looks and works very nicely. One of the workers had to return several times to get the sliding doors to work as I desired. He was very professional and accomodating.

Description of Work: We wanted to replace our tub and shower for a walk-in shower. The measurements were taken and an estimate for the job was given .They began work on 8/15. The plumber, Christian, removed the tub, vanity and medicine cabinet to provide room for the structure. Next he worked on the framework and plumbed a new vanity, {which we provided along with a new medicine cabinet and a light bar} On the 17th the dry wall had been installed and the first coat of "mud" applied. After he finished the plumber returned to install doors. I wasn't quite satisfied with the doors so he had to return twice to get them like I wanted. We took our "first" shower on the 18 and discovered the controls were off--too much cold water. The plumber was very conscientious and we finally got it regulated on the 24 of August. The workers were fine, but I was never contacted by the main office as to the kind of doors I wanted--I just sent word with the dry waller that I wanted frosted or pebbled glass. The workers were diligent and courteous.

water softeners
 + -1 moreCalled for service on a warrantied part of our water softener. (We knew what was wrong with it and were able to identify what would need to be replaced). The plumber showed up and replaced a faulty timer in under 5 minutes. We were charged for 1.5 hours labor. When I called to inquire why the bill was so high, I was told its because they charge for the time it takes from when they leave the shop until they return. I acknowledge that I live 30 minutes from the shop, but $57.00 an hour for drive-time is outrageous! I haven't had a problem with their work and they were prompt about fixing the problem, but I would only use them again if I lived right next door.

 + 0 moreThe plumber came to my house around 10am the day after I called. He was able to take care of both drains. He completed the work quickly and was courteous enough to clean up inevitable mess. The plumber didn't even complain about my dog attempting to help fix the problem by trying to climb under the sink with him! I haven't had a problem with my sink since. I will definately use this plumber again!
Description of Work: My kitchen sink was slow to drain, then eventually stopped draining and started backing up. I live in a townhouse and my neighbor's was doing the same thing. Since the pipes are old they have a lot of build-up making clogs a common problem. The plumber cleared the clog and replaced a few seals in the pipes.
