Description of Work: My mother lives in New Market, IA, and I was trying to have carpet installed in one room in her home and bathroom tile installed in her bathroom. We contacted Mr. Miller and he said he would call that evening (8/6/14) to schedule an appointment for a bid. We never heard from him. We were gone most of the day Thursday, but when I returned and checked her phone, there were no messages. I called him again that evening, and was not able to speak to him in person but left a message. To this date, 8/13/14, he has never taken the time to call and schedule an appointment. If he didn't have time to do the work, he should have just told us. Sadly for him, she needs other work done of the type of work he has listed that he does, as does one of my aunts and a cousin, all in that general area of Iowa. But he lost out by not having the courtesy to call. My mother has since found a carpet installer, and will seek recommendations from that person for the other work she needs done. We don't live in Iowa, and were quite disappointed in not being able to get an estimate and handle that aspect of the job before we left. We certainly will not give his name to any family members.

 + 0 moreAdam was referred to me by my brother and his wife after he installed their hardwood flooring. I needed a mosaic backsplash installed in my kitchen and laundry room. He came to give me an estimate on the day and at the time he said he would. He gave me a written estimate. I accepted it and work began. Adam was very prompt and professional. Anytime he knew he wouldn't be at my house as expected, he texted me to let me know. We were so happy with his work that we hired him to build our 14x28 foot composite deck and to rebuild our front steps. After that, we were still so impressed that we hired him to install railings on two of our new porches. Adam Miller is an excellent contractor with a strong work ethic. He is one of the few contractors that worked on our house that I would welcome back! And on top of that, he was very kind to my 5 year old son who was absolutely fascinated with all the construction that was going on...and quot;Hey Adam, whatcha doing?and quot; was a constant but I never heard him get annoyed or even ignore my son. Impressive! I will hire him again when needed! (The prices were varied depending on the job.)

 + 0 moremiller flooring solutions and more did an awesome job. he is honest,hard working and eager to please. i have read some reviews people have wrote and i think you just cant please some people. he is the type of person that if you dont like something say so as soon as you can and he will do everything he can to make the customer happy. some people wait till it is to late and b****. that is uncalled for. MILLER FLOORING CAN WORK FOR ME ANYTIME.
