Everything was handled perfectly. All the counters and back splash were very impressive.

We received 2 estimates and were ready to commit when we heard about Joe. He came in $2,000.00 lower than any estimate we had received. We met Joe when we went to pick out our granite slab. He was very personable, informative and had good ideas. We had recently bought a top mount sink and Joe encouraged us to get an under mount sink, as it gave a cleaner look. We decided not to. After we picked out the slabs we wanted Joe came to the house to check our measurements. He told us he would work with our sink and do it as an under mount. After it was completed we realized he had been right, it made all the difference! We were very fortunate that we had Joe taking care of us. When the plumber came to attach the sink he told me Joe had done a great job in securing and supporting the sink. Joe had a guy who came out to remove the old countertop, and the next day they came and put the new countertop on. They were very professional, courteous and friendly, and it was comfortable having them in our kitchen, They were very tidy, they cleaned up after themselves and left me to enjoy my new countertops. We had chosen a granite style with much "flow" in the slabs and Joe was able to use the movement and creat a masterpiece. Can you tell we were thrilled? We consider him to be an artist, his skill in cutting the piece was like a work of art. We heartily recommend Iowa Custom Stoneworks! An important difference with Joe is that we only paid for the granite we used.
