Northern Winds Insulation & Coatings

Called Northern Winds Insulation in mid April, and a few days later Greg Hughes called back. We set up an appt for him to come to my home to see what I needed done. I needed cellulose blown into the walls of my 2 story home, as well as blown in the attic, and spray foam insulation on my basement walls, rim joists and partial crawl space - in other words, a substantial insulating job from top to bottom. Greg appeared knowledgeable and friendly at the time, and interested in doing the job for me. He said he would be back "early next week" to pull off siding to get a better idea of how to proceed, and to gather final numbers for a bid. That was over 2 weeks ago. I have called him 3 times and left voice messages, and also left an email through their website asking when they are coming out, but still no response. My last message asked them to let me know even if they were too busy or didn't want to do the job so I could move forward with someone else. It ticks me off as I am on a time crunch for needing some numbers in front of me for proceeding with a loan to do some substantial work to my home. I have wasted over 2 weeks waiting on him when I could have been out looking for another insulation contractor. I understand this is getting to be the busy time of year for work, but if you tell someone you will be back, then come back. If you tell someone you will get numbers to them for a loan you know they are taking out, then get back to that person with numbers. But to avoid phone calls? Come on - horrible business ethic and rotten customer service is all that is. After two weeks, I have moved on to different contractors and wouldn't use Northern Winds even if they did ever get around to calling me back.
