Showed up with an estimate written on notebook paper. Wanted money for materials. Showed up later asking for additional money so he could get his kids some school supplies. Dropped off some lumber (no receipt)after being called several times. Did have family emergencies, but had to hear about it through the grapevine. Did not return our calls for several weeks. Finally did call, promising to start work on the projects over a month after he said he'd begin. Never showed up. Did not return phone messages. Lied and stole our money. Stiffed the neighbor, too. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON, UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY. PROMISES MUCH/DELIVERS NOTHING!
Description of Work: Gave an estimate to repair fascia, gutters and wrap windows after hail damage. Was also going to replace 2 windows and redo a deck railing. DID NOT SHOW UP AFTER BEING PAID.

We had extensive hail damage and saw the work Tom was doing on a neighbor's home. We asked him to come over to our house and look at repairing some of our storm damage. He gave us a reasonable estimate. Came back the next day with a hand-written estimate on notebook paper. Asked for a check of nearly $1400 in order to buy materials and pay for a part of the labor. Said he had to take the estimate with him so he could write it up on his computer. Came back in a few days with a story about needing an additional sum of money to help pay for his children's school registration fees. We felt bad for his situation and gave in, despite the fact that his story sounded fishy. He was not seen for another 2 weeks. We called often and he rarely responded. He finally dropped off some of the materials, but never started the work. Refuses to answer calls. Has not been seen for over a month, despite being given many chances. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS GUY'S STORIES. He is a scammer!
Description of Work: Was to replace storm damaged gutters, fascia, window trim and install/replace 2 windows.
