Crew showed up with no work order or instructions on what I had agreed to in the contract. Contract said I would get 6' of lower freeze/water barrier, workers put on 3'. Contract said all gutters would be removed and lower flashing replaced, workers left gutters on and laid new barrier over existing flashing. Contract said I would be left extra shingles, workers left none. The valley material was ripped and overlapping at those points was not sealed properly. The gutters were taken off after roof was completed, old flashing still in place. This is obviously wrong order of repair. Fireplace leaked and ruined wall in living room. Took Bel-Aire 2 trips to fix the problem (but only gooped tar on my roof to get the water to stop) Front porch leaked into soffit. One worker came by on cold day, crammed some black felt paper under the shingles to temporarily stop the water and said he would come back on warm day to fix permanent, but never saw him again.
Description of Work: Replacement roof in 2012 after a 2011 hail storm. Entire roof needed replacing along with all gutters and metal vents.

Description of Work: Put on a new roof in July, 2011 but the job wasn't completed until Jan, 2012. The guys working on my roof did a poor job installing the flashing on my chimney and I had to have them come back to fix that more than once. They finally had to get a guy that does chimneys come and fix the problem. They bent the gutters while working and didn't fix them. New gutters weren't included in my insurance claim. There was tear off left between my house and gutters for 6 months. In January before they were paid the remaining balance they did fix the bent gutters somewhat and cleaned the tear off from between the gutters and the house. Now I'm having problems with my porch in back having rain water go behind the gutters and was told that was from the roofers not putting correct flashing on the roof when it was done.

Description of Work: The initial work done was done in a timely manner. The clean-up was done very well with very little debris left around. Their price was very reasonable. The problems I had with this company was damage done to my property that they said was done prior to their beginning work. I was told my insurance inspector had photos of the damage prior to Bel-Aire starting to repair the roof. When I questioned them about it they insisted the damage was there already. After I confronted them with it a second time they finally admitted it was they who caused the damage and they would take care of the damages. Which they eventually did. They removed gutter guards I had in my gutters and said I didn't have any prior to them starting work. When I proved them wrong they did replace the missing gutter guards. Aftrer the work was done to the roof I had another contractor look at the roof. Bel-Aire failed to replace a ridge cap and at the rear of the house, used white shingles instead of the ones I ordered and they initally used. Whenever I called them I had to leave a voice mail. Most of these they didn't answer. There were numerous times they told me they'd be over to fix something and they never showed. On at least three occassions I had to go to their office/home in order to talk to someone. I was told on several occassions the reason they didn't call me back or show up when they said they would is because they were busy with other jobs or the person I needed to speak with was on vacation. The overall time frame it took for them to complete the job/paperwork was from August to December 2011.
