+ -1 moreIt was great working with Laurie. She was highly recommended by a friend and after seeing positive reviews on Angie's List, I contacted her. I had a challenge on my hands because one of the rooms to be painted was a former nursery that had decorative painting. Laurie did an excellent job from preparing the walls, to painting and clean up. The work was high quality, she was punctual and very responsive. I would definitely use The Wonderful Painter again.

+ -1 moreLaurie will always do exactly what is asked of her, but she will also offer an opinion if she believes that it will beneft the overall project. If she believes that something is not done quite right or there is a question about something she did, she will fix it immediately and not charge for the correction. She is very professional and approaches every project or room the same as if it were her own. The most impressive thing she does is in the preparation - no short cuts - very meticulous on sharp edges, corners, ceilings, etc. I would be happy to recommend her to anyone for any office or residential project. She is definitely a pro and is very reasonable and provides an accurate estimate upfront. I guess that is why she is called The Wonderful Painter! Description of Work: Laurie - The Wonderful Painter - has completed 2-3 separate painting projects for us and did a wonderful job. We remodeled the interior of our offices and with the recommendation from an Interior Designer, we chose Laurie to do the project. I and my entire stafff was very pleased with the quality, efficiency, professionalism, and the price. Laurie works very quietly - you hardly even know she is there - and always cleans up at the end of the day where you only see the quality of the work that was done. If we have another paint project, I will be sure to call on Laurie to do the job.

+ 0 moreThe Wonderful Painter brings everything she needs and always on time. Covers everything for safety and prep is done well. Clean up is all done by Laurie, resulting in very little for me to do after. She is great at suggestions of finishes and details that I may not have thought of. The finished product is excellent! I never have found that she cuts corners.
Description of Work: The Wonderful Painter has done a variety of different painting and wallpaper removal jobs over the last 6 years for my household. Wallpaper removed in a half bath and in a dining area and 2 stairwells, basement area and bedrooms. All done very well and walls prepped for painting. She is great on estimating the time a job might take and being done on time, if everything went as planned. Clean up is great, one of few painters that I have never had to clean up after she left and that includes wallpaper removal as well. Wallpaper removal can be very messy and she took care of it all. She has painted exterior and interior doors(all look fantastic), pillars and bedrooms for me, all turned out fantastic. Also she is great at caulking and repaiir work to all wall materials.
