Description of Work: We hired Scott's to hang drywall, tape and mud then do knock down ceiling, texture walls, prime it all and paint the ceiling in a kitchen, 1/2 bath and dining room area we are remodeling . The drywall work and the ceiling and wall texturing looks fantastic. As drywall is a job that is done in steps and our project was only half days worth of work while waited for coats to dry there were some scheduling changes. We know they had to work around other projects . They were able to complete our project shortly after we accepted their bid which was completed within a day of us making the initial call to inquire of their services. The only criticism if any was clean up after the project with some of the spray texture on some blinds and fireplace hearth I will have to scrub up. We hired them to do this extra part of the job when we were out of town so we were not there to cover it up ourselves which perhaps was our responsibility.

Description of Work: Interior painting whole house. refinish hardwood floors, new kitchen floor and tile, carpet bedrooms. Install new microwave and vent. Great job and communication. Couple of small issues that Andy took care of to our satisfaction immediately. Very pleased!

Description of Work: It has been a week and a half since I first contacted Scott. There was no answer, so I left a message. There was no response. I called again a few days later. Again no answer so I left another message. There still has been zero response. I know things come up, but no response for over a week and I have left two messages trying to find someone to hire.

Description of Work: Andy and his crew scraped and retextured all the cielings in my home. this was a huge task and he did a brilliant job. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. Its rare that your expectations are exceeded, but Andy and his crew did an amazing job. Even the clean up was fantastic. I will use Scott's Home Renewal Again for future projects!

Description of Work: We had a hole in our drywall that needed to be repaired. Andy came out, took a look, gave us an estimate that seemed fair for the work to be done. We mentioned the coupon we had from Angie's list and he immediately honored it and gave us a new price. We scheduled a time within a couple of days for him to complete the work. Andy arrived promptly, was very professional in his explanation of the work process, and was very respectful of my home. Andy replaced the drywall and retextured the area. It looked great! He then explained what I should expect in terms of drying time and asked if I had any questions. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. i will recommend him without reservation and am happy to have him on the list of professionals that can help me with my home.

Description of Work: Andy and his crew responded quickly to our request for an estimate. The estimate was fair and we proceeded to have the work done. They removed a huge lighting fixture from our kitchen and replaced it with can lights and pendants and repaired the ceiling. They always showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and did a very professional job. The kitchen looks beautiful. They even repaired a towel ring for no extra charge. Their electrician was extremely helpful with the design of the lighting. In all, it was the best experience with contractors I've ever had. We would certainly recommend them!!

Description of Work: I called Scott's Home Repair twice in the past 5 or 6 weeks and left messages for several repairs and painting jobs (both interior and exterior) I was hoping to have done this fall - and especially the 2 or 3 exterior jobs before cold weather. I never did receive the courtesy of a reply.

Description of Work: gave estimate on kitchen/bathroom remodel; gutted kitchen, cleaned up every night when finished; proceeded w/ work each day that they could work (delays for cabinet delivery, electrical, plumbing) worked till everything completed. painting done well, cabinet installation perfect, Pergo flooring beautiful, appliance installation, tile backsplash; completely satisfied. tile bathroom gutted, beautiful drywall installed, tile shower/floor done well, disappointed that two different colors of tile used (from same group, hard to distinguish, but it's different) but convinced owner that it was the same. tile co. also at fault. also failed to follow up on sealing a leak in grab bar. otherwise, work was completed w/ overall customer satisfaction.

Description of Work: Just got an estimate, but the estimate was way over what anyone else gave us; also quite slow in coming to make the estimate, then took two weeks to email us the estimate.

Description of Work: I called him about painting my garage floor. He seemed pleasant on the phone. He (Andy) promised to get back to me later about an appointment for a quote. That was the last I heard from him. I was disappointed in view of the positive reviews he received.
