ROCKSTAR satellite

Having moved into a new apartment we were instructed to call these guys to setup satellite services. After going over with the person on the phone several times what I would be getting and specifically asking him if there was any deposit or anything else I would have to pay he assured me my order was exactly what I wanted and nothing else would have to be paid on my part. Well, that was a lie. Upon the representatives coming out to install everything I was shocked to find out I was not receiving the dvr or hd boxes I was promised unless I paid them several hundred dollars up front for them. They told me there was nothing they could do and I could either pay or not the equipment I had originally wanted. I immediately canceled my services with them and went with my local cable company which installed everything how I wanted it with dvr and hd boxes at absolutely no extra charge.

After two representatives from Directv (Corporate) visited my house, eyeballed the surrounding trees and proclaimed there was no way a signal could be received - Chris/Jay/Brian from Rockstar came out with an actual dish and found 96% coverage!  Rockstar came out two days later and had me up and running with all the amenities.  These guys were motivated to have me as a customer while the Directv corporate reps could have cared less.   

Oh - and they didn't charge me a dime for the install - the fees were for the equipment.  AND they got the same packages I was getting supposed to get from Directv corporate (NFL Ticket,, NFL to Go, HBO, Starz & Showtime promotions, etc).  I would recommend these guys to anyone thinking about getting Directv - much more responsive and professional!
