Pella Windows and Doors

It worked out good. The crew was conscientious about the work and they were very clean but the exterior cleanup could have improved.

They were great, left no evidence and did a good job.

The product itself is good and the windows we put in 15 years ago are just great. The front door and everything was sealed right. We put in a new door so that we would not have any air underneath the door. The workman are very efficient. They clean up after themselves so it was good. Their pricing is a little high, but the quality is good.

Excellent service from start to finish. The sales staff provided suggestions on how to approach replacing our current windows. The staff was more knowledgeable on what type of window was needed and choices available compared to other vendors. This included a picture window that was beautiful and better than the original design. Also replaced some casement windows in bedrooms with slider windows that turned out great. They were flexible allowing us to stain wood trim prior to installation. Deliveries were on time and installation was perfect. The installation staff was very professional and far exceeded any other window installations I have done in the past.

The initial sales effort went fine. We had a sales man who accused us of lying and threatened to sue us. The windows do not lock properly. They upper window must be in exactly in place in order to lock the windows. The installation itself went well. According to an installer, the factory put incorrect weights in the windows. The window they installed on the eastern most side of our master bedroom did not close properly and they improved the situation with that one. To this day, it is very difficult to close some of the other windows. I thought they were reasonably priced IF the windows were working properly. We would not recommend them to anyone.

It could not have been better. The couple that came to do the installation got it done to perfection, and made sure it was done exactly right. They were very contientious and good workers. All the clean up was taken care of. They were very timely and professional installers. The company itself was very knowledgeable and they were able to steer us in the right direction for the window installation. We thought that the price of the widow installation was a good value economically. We would definitely use them again when the time comes.

We like everything about Pella windows. We have the windows with the sealed in blinds in between the glass which we like. We also like that we do not hear noises from outside or do not get air leakage. The windows are wonderful. They are always on time, efficient and work the entire time they are here. They are also very knowledgable.

They have been very good to work with. They have been professional and helpful. We were so satisfied with their business ethnic that we went back and purchased a patio sliding screen door with panels.

It turned out great. We were very happy with the workmanship and the windows. They arrived when they were supposed and cleaned up well. We were very impressed with the overall experience. I felt like we got what we paid for, the craftsmanship and durability of the windows is excellent.

One time they installed windows throughout the entire house. It went perfectly, price was within the bid and there were no issues with the installation. About six years later we had an addition put on the house and they installed windows for the addition. They also installed a large bay window that is beautiful and gives a good view of the neighborhood. We replaced our front door. He came out, picked our door and he gave us the estimate. He informed us they do not make storm doors anymore to go in front of the main door. He told us that when we got the storm dorm to ask for a specific kit. I wrote everything down and when we went to pick out the storm door I made sure we ordered the kit for the installation. When Home Depot came out to install the storm door they told me we do not need the kit so I sent him away. Home Deport sent out another guy who installed the storm door and after the installation he told me he did not need the kit. I called Pella asking why they told me I needed this kit when I did not. They said "what do you want me to do about it" and "I didn't tell you to buy the kit". I was upset because they did not offer to pay for the kit or even half of it. I was unimpressed with this particular experience with Pella. However, I am happy with the quality of the windows. The installation crews are excellent.

I thought it would be the easiest thing to order from the local Pella Window store. Of the 20 windows I order with installation, there is one with a fine print that they don't install that particular window. So, they'll sell me a window, but won't install it. I asked them on the phone if the quote included all installation, material and haul-off and they said yes. Why would a window company sell me a window they won't install and just leave it at my house to install after they quote me for installation of all windows, but leave the one in fine print that it is not included. There response was we only have service techs and not actual window installers. Are you kidding me??? You are a window retailer and you quoted me for the installation of all the windows, which i paid for.

My experience with them has been very good. They're on time, courteous and responsive and they do good work. They have a great product and great people to work with.
