My dishwasher wasn't draining. Josh arrived within the specified time frame. Spent several minutes doing some troubleshooting. Eventually found a kink in the drain hose from when I had repaired a different issue a week before. He was able to unlink the hose.

I tried repairing the refrigerator on my own and couldn't figure out what else to do so I called Metro Appliance. They came and said that I probably didn't get my water tubes pushed in tight enough into the water filter housing. That wasn't the problem. The guy replaced the bottom tube but didn't come equipped with the upper tube. He said that it would be the next day or early part of next week. I didn't hear anything on Friday so I called them on Saturday since their business hours said they were open on Saturdays. Here's the KICKER, they're open (answer the phones), BUT, they don't have technicians that work on Saturdays! Does that make sense?! ABSOLUTELY NOT! If it says you're OPEN on Saturdays then you should be available to WORK on Saturdays! I had a LENGTHY conversation with the lady on the phone about trying to find out what was going on with my "ticket" and what the status of my "part" was. She said she can't look up the status. So, apparently, the technicians can just order ANYTHING behind the company's back because the company doesn't keep track of any parts ordered? These guys don't keep stuff in stock because "they don't want to sit on a part that might not be used". I didn't hear anything on Monday. Tuesday they called and said the technician would be out Wednesday to repair the fridge. He repaired the fridge and then left. He didn't bother to put everything back together. I had to put the support arm, front grill, and the back panel back on myself! The lack of communication on the part order was what most upset me but the lady gave me a reason that they can't keep track of all of their customers. Wow, you have that many ACTIVE customers that you can't give them a call to update them on a part? Won't be using these guys again.

I stopped in Monday after a referral from Dan Can Fix It. I shared my traumatic experiences with Lowe's with 3 people at Metro. They listened to the story and assisted me in problem-solving by selecting an appropriate dryer, and even gave me a discount, since the unit had a dent. They accommodated my schedule as much as possible and had it installed in 5 minutes without arguing, swearing or yelling like the Lowe's people did. They also offered a 60 day warranty at no charge. I would definitely use them again. They won't let ya hang out to dry.
Description of Work: Picked out and purchased a used dryer, and had them deliver and hook it up. Received therapy services to address the traumatic experience of purchasing a dryer from Lowe's, at which time the Lowe's delivery people swore and yelled, and did not want to hook up the dryer. Then it died 18 mos later. I enlisted the assistance of Metro to assist with this issue.
