We called Bob on a Tuesday afternoon and he said he could stop by at 6pm that evening to talk to us. He showed up on time, talked to use about what we wanted done and gave us an estimate on the spot. We excepted his estimate that day and he told us he would call the night before he could start the work but that it would be sometime soon. Two days later we had markings in our yard from the city. A few days went by due to rain and on Thursday evening Bob called to tell us he'd have his crew out there the next morning to get started. They were able to tear up the existing concrete, level and pour new concrete all in one day and were done by about 4pm. They came back in the morning to take out the wood frames, remove the burlap fabric, cut the concrete and put the soil back around the edges of the new driveway. We can't park on it for a few days but we can walk on it and it's amazing how nice of a job they did. I appreciate that Bob's crew was nice and cleaned up after themselves. We had limited space on our street for all of the trucks and equipment and they did a nice job of making sure that traffic could get through and didn't disrupt the neighbors. Many of our neighbors have stopped to talk about how much our new driveway improves the look of our house and how nice of a job they did on it. Bob is easy to talk with, knows his stuff, and is punctual. We had a great experience and will call him again!
Description of Work: We had a single lane driveway, approximately 8 feet wide, with lots of cracks and slopped toward our house. We were interested in widing the driveway to two lanes and widing the approach for two car side-by-side access. We also had some misc concrete and asphalt next to the driveway that we wanted removed. Bob gave us an estimate for removing all of the existing concrete and asphalt from our property, widing the driveway to 16 feet across (city limits to 16 with our size lot), widing our approach to 20 feet, adding rock to raise the level of the driveway so that water would slop away from our house instead of running to it.

He did this very quickly. He did an excellent job, because I watched him do it. I'd never seen a concrete contractor clean up so well after himself. He even put some of the sod back where the forms were. I would use him again! I've been trying to get him to do my driveway, but he's so busy he can't!
Description of Work: He removed and replaced the front sidewalk. He did about 100 feet of this.
