David was very prompt in returning calls and coming out for an estimate. David stopped by with his crew and did a walk through. His crew was very efficient, thorough and asked questions when in doubt about something. They put the items back that had to be moved in order to do their job. I will definitely refer Langford services to family and friends.

First of all, thank you Angie for the recommendation. I have had so much better service with your recomendations so if it is a few dollars more than I dont have a problem with that. Langford was very highly rated and they were out the next day to give us a quote. It was fair when you saw what they had to tackle.They called ahead to let us know when they would be there and to let our neighbor on the south use there driveway also . I left for work and called my wife who said they had started. By the time I got home, the tree was gone, the stump had been removed and the area was cleaned up. Very nicely done

Due to the Angie's List reviews, and recommendation from a friend, I called for an estimate to prune some trees. First impression was good - a nice lady answered the phone, and asked for my contact information. She offered to have someone come for the estimate when I would be home. I said yes, and she said she would have someone call to arrange a time. She warned me that it could be a few days because the guys have been really busy with storm cleanup. I think the guy was named David that called a couple days later and he told me he could come by mid morning the next Saturday. I waited around, but he never called or stopped. If I couldn't count on him to show up for an estimate, I didn't want to pursue him for the actual job.

Made sure we met with them for the estimate. Got the estimate guaranteed and in writing. Had them give us the work plan before they started.

We have a large crab-apple tree in our backyard that desperately needed trimming. Langford Tree Service came our our house to look at the tree and provide a free estimate. They delivered the best price of 3 estimates we received. The arrived on time for the appointment and had several workers there trimming the tree, so they moved quickly. They did ask me how far I wanted the tree trimmed back. I wish they had cut it back a little more, but I was the one that instructed them. Overall, I felt they did a good job for a fair price and would definitely hire them for other jobs.

I was told when they came to do an estimate that they were 2 weeks out in their scheduling and that was approximately how long it was after they did the estimate that the crew came and trimmed my trees.

Great! The Langford company took care of all the details and made arrangements with neighboring properties. The tree was on my property but could only be accessed from the neighbors. The job was done very quickly and efficiently.

Knowledgeable, professional. Reasonable estimate

They really trimmed up the tree. They did a really good job with the and cleaned up after themselves really good. I had them cut up the limbs into chips to put down around the tree where my kids have made it a sitting area. The limbs that were too big to chip they took those away for me. I would recommend them to anybody.

Fist the boss came over and took a look and gave me an estimate; since i was paying cash i paid less! 30 minutes later the crew came over and took the tree branch out in little to no time. Cleaned up their mess and was gone in less than 15 minutes..

The crew did the work as detailed in the estimate, removed all debris and left the property in tip-top shape. One of the crew, a professional climber, did a great job of removing two large branches that were encroaching on the back deck. Very impressive to watch. This is a thoroughly professional business that delivers as advertised for a reasonable price. I would hire them again and recommend the business to others.

We moved into action upon our return and called Dave Langford and two other vender for quotes. Dave came in less on his bid and thought he could schedule the next week. We called back and gave him the job and got a call the very next week saying he had a crew ready to do the removal that day. The other vendors I talked to told me they were three weeks to a month out to schedule, so we were pleased to receive the quick response. Dave's crew did a great job and I would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Called for an estimate for tree removal, very prompt and reasonably priced with estimate. When called two weeks later to schedule the removal was told "he's about 2 weeks out, he will call you to schedule exact date". 3 weeks later, no call, when I called back I was told he would call the next day, they had been having equipment issues. No call the next day, found another service who took care of tree, and planted a new one within 36 hours of call.

I used this company because of other positive ratings that they received on Angie's List. The owner, Dave, came out to do a assessment and work up an estimate. The work was done on the stated date and time and for the stated cost. The crew was very professional and efficient. I was very pleased with the work and cost. I will have this company back in the spring to do more work.

David Langford and his crew did an awesome job. Provided an estimate over the phone (I was in another state at the time), showed up on-time, and came prepared with the right tools, and knowledge to complete the job. He was by far the lowest estimate, and did excellent work. His crew cleaned up when they were done, and I have received many compliments on what a nice job they did.

As mentioned above. They did an excellent job, and at the estimated cost of their service. The crew was polite and went right to work. They wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied. Hard workers and good at what they do.

Prompt about getting me an estaminet but extremely slow in returning phone calls concerning removal date. After a date was set we had some rain which delayed the removal but not enough to explain the more than two week delay. They frustration was compounded by the fact that they never even called to tell me their would be any delay. I eventually called them to voice my concern and they came the following day. The job they did was above and beyond what I hired them to do and I was very pleased with it. Over all the job done made up for the frustration of scheduling.

Their work good. I spent around $350 for that work. They just went ahead and did the work. They did not give me a lot of spiel, they just did the work and they gave us a bill. They did not ask for anything upfront. They were just simple and easy and did what I wanted. The price was what I expected, nothing special.

Called Langford and they said they would have someone call me. Had to call back after a week to check the status, and someone returned my call that day to schedule the appointment. The tree was trimmed a couple of days later and looks great. They hauled away all the branches and you can't even tell any trimming was done in that regard. Price was several hundred dollars less than the other two quotes I got. Overally, VERY happy with the results.

Received quote on 11/27/09 and was told service to be done in 2-3 weeks. Within the time frame, record snowfall began. Service was not completed until 3/25/10. Was reminded once about the pending work. Trees were trimmed well and price was reasonable. As long as work performed before spring growth began, delay was OK.

Excellent--from the time of estimate in summer (when owner/aborist Langford also not only gave me advice on a leaning shrub elsewhere on my property, but also exchanged--free--my then-current support for a better one) to the day he and his crew trimmed my overgrown ornamental tree he'd come to take a look at. On the day, he phoned to check I was home prior to arrival, told me when he'd be there--and was!--kept me "in the loop" as work progressed, worked quickly and efficiently. He left a clean site and charged what he said he would. I am delighted with this experience and would definitely hire him again. What a pleasure!
