JOHN'S TREE SERVICE

We called them to trim some limbs from the storm and they were coming out in a couple days. They never showed up and never called. Then we called again and they were going to come out that day. They never showed up or called. Very poor service.

Once they arrived at the neighboring property, the company set up quickly with an 11-ton crane and chipper. One worker climbed the tree, coordinating with the crane operator, who hoisted the tree sections down as they were cut. Three other workers fed smaller sections of the tree into the chipper, and keep the yards cleaned up. They were mostly done within about two hours, and the last tree section was gone later that day. The owner was present in the beginning, and I later had a nice talk with the tree climber. Everything went smoothly.

Very well. Work on the elm was done with a bucket and a crane, and no harm befell either the magnolia or the gazebo. Removal of the willow was done completely including grinding the stump.

Bid was very competitive. Showed up right on time. Two-person crew, one trimmed the the other cleaned up. I was impressed with the deliberate way they approached the trimming, taking the time to make sure every cut was right. I was consulted a couple of times to make sure I was happy with the work. I feel like we got great value and service. I'd highly recommend them.

John's Tree Service did a great job. Because this massive limb had fallen on my 2 of my vehicles they made this small job a priority. I had cut what limbs I could. They not only removed limbs they cut but also removed debris I created. They did a great job at a great price. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Called John's Tree Service in July to get an estimate to trim up tree branches that our insurance company had pointed out as being a hazard to our new roof! Ron came out on the 22nd of July, found out what we needed done, and gave us an estimate which was good for 90 days. We had used their service previously, so knew we wanted to have them go ahead and told him so that same day. He told us that the office would call with the schedule as there had been a lot of tree work being done due to storms in the area. We were ultimately scheduled for Aug 12 around noon and that there would be another appointment before ours. That's always good to know, so that if they're late, you can figure that something took a little longer at the job before yours. The trucks showed up at 2:15 - a large boom trucking towing the shredder and a pickup towing the stump grinder, which we weren't going to need this time, but had used in the past. Two very professional young men assessed the job and confirmed with us that what they thought they were to do was actually what we ordered. After we were all on the same page, we were told it would take about an hour and a half, they set to work. You could tell immediately that they were professionals. They donned their safety equipment, properly set the outriggers on the boom truck and started the project. Limbs were trimmed and gently dropped down between the truck and our privacy fence - which wasn't even scratched! This continued until everything was trimmed up that we had asked to have trimmed. We signaled a "thumbs up" that we were satisfied and the bucket was lowered. From there they proceeded to clean up any leftover debris from the neighbor's parking lot from which they worked to reach our trimming. (The tree actually belonged to the neighbor, but was overhanging our roof! And we had secured permission for the use of his lot as soon as we had the appointment confirmed with John's!) The whole project - including writing them the check took about an hour and fifteen minutes. We would HIGHLY recommend this firm to anyone needing tree trimming or removal - they've done both for us - and we'd call them again.

Removed trees and stumps

We have a detached garage at our house that had a huge tree sitting right beside it. We have future plans to add a bigger garage to our property and would eventually have to remove the big tree. John's Tree Service came out and removed the tree and stump. They were very professional, arrived on time, and were very clean in the process of removing the tree. I highly recommend John's Tree Service and would use them again in the future.

Crew arrived promptly at time indicated and were very professional in the job they performed. They made certain to include me in the major decisions of which of the large limbs to cut down so that I would be happy with the end result.

They were very professional and climbed the tree to bring it down safely without damaging my lawn. They moved some of our bird feeders and other deck items to make sure all items were clear. Everything came down safely and they removed all of the debris and would as I had requested. All the wood chips and saw dust on the deck was cleaned up as well as the driveway. All in all I was very pleased with the work. They were professional, friendly and took care of everything I needed within 4-5 hours. I'd definitely hire them again.

It was after a large storm with widespread damage, but they got to us in a timely manner for the estimate and then scheduled the work. They showed up on time and worked diligently. They used many different kinds of equipment and it was amazing to watch. I've had many handymen working here, and the condition John's left the area was second to none.

The team arrived exactly on time, removed the tree, debris, stump, cleaned up and were gone in three hours. They went to great effort to find all of the roots that were spidered around the stump, and removed them all (using a wide range of tools, including an axe). When I asked to save a and quot;sliceand quot; of the stump, they saved off a 4 inch slice of the tree for me. The final cleanup was reasonably well done, a handful of chips were found scattered around the yard (the stump grinder sent a few chips flying) - but those were what I would consider a reasonable item.

John's arrived promptly to review the job to formulate a bid. Once they were notified of acceptance of their bid their staff was timely in scheduling the job. Unfortuneately, staffing issues delayed their ability to complete the job. To their credit John's sent a crew to take down one of the trees that had fallen and was leaning against another tree. This was threatening my privacy fence and the neighbor's garage. Again staffing delayed further work on the project. John's did call several times to appologize and reschedule versus just ignoring me as some contractors would do. When all was said and done the work was completed to my satisfaction. John's even reduced the price due to the 'inconvenience'. This was done at their insistance and not my request.

They were scheduled for am that day but called and had a member call in sick so had to get a replacement in. They came right after lunch. They arrived with a full crew, used a tarp to haul away branches and debris, and raked up and removed any stray debris. They had two trucks and a branch shredder on site so they trees and branches were ground up as they worked. They cleaned up the street where the grinding took place. The whole operation took less than 4 hours from start to finish. They also ground up the stumps into sawdust and removed that as well. Other than a well groomed landscape, you wouldn't have known they had been there! The job had been bid ahead of time and that is what they asked for at the completion of the job plus tax. We are very satisfied with the work done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to others.

They did a GREAT job and it looks terrific! The and quot;crewand quot; arrived on time, and got right to work. There was one man in the cherry picker with a chain saw and 3 men below catching, chipping smaller limbs, and stacking larger pieces of the trunk. They worked quickly and efficiently. They used our neighbor's driveway (with permission) because the tree being cut down hung over the neighbor's driveway, yard, and house. They were careful not to damage anything with their trucks and other equipment. When the workers were done removing the tree, they cleaned the neighbor's driveway and yard. After trimming the large tree in front and the large tree in back of our house, they cleaned up the front and back yards and you couldn't even tell they were there - it actually looked better, they raked it! Grinding out the stump was quite a job. I was so happy that they even got the roots! They are very professional and know what they're doing! AND, the price was very reasonable!

They did a good job. The price was good, too. They were quick and did exactly what they said they would do. They returned to grind down the stump, which I needed. They waited until the conditions were right to get their equipment into the yard. I would recommend them.

A late July storm damaged the roots of our 30-foot blue spruce, causing it to lean toward our neighbor's house. John assessed the damage, gave me an estimate and removed the trees and roots.
