Description of Work: Scott worked on changing our router setting to allow phone access to our DVR. He also fixed a computer which had been hit with a virus that stopped it from working.

Description of Work: I had a variety of issues on my home computer, and needed a trouble shooter. In addition to actually "fixing" issues, some of the issues required the owner of Iowa Computer House Calls to answer my questions and explain how something was done. Twice he told me he was there to fix my computer, not to be a trainer! He seemed to be in a bad mood all the time he was here. This is the first experience like this I have had.

+ -1 moreOverall I am completely satisfied! I called on a Thursday, they scheduled the appointment the following day, arrived on time and quickly fixed my computer problems and gave advise for additional, FREE options for keeping my computers safe! I will definitely use them again!
Description of Work: I had 2 computers that were infected with Viruses and Iowa Computer House Calls came to my house, was on time and efficient and cleaned both computers as well as made suggestions for safety and security as well as suggestions for optimizing my computer processing. They also made suggestions of free options that are available to solve some of my issues! Great partner in keeping my computers running great! I will recommend them to everyone that needs help! Patti Update Jan. 2014- I had another issue with my computer and I called Iowa Computer House calls and was directed over the phone how to fix my issues with no charge and the instruction to call back if the issues persist and they would come out to fix my computer! The over the phone solution worked! They will definitely be my first call with any computer issues!
