Hicklin Door Services has specialized in garage door and door opener systems since 2002. Our family-owned business is small enough to serve each customer personally and large enough to take care of any garage door project, whether residential, commercial or industrial. For complete customer satisfaction, we exclusively sell and recommend one of the top garage door manufacturers - Garaga garage doors. Business hours: Seven days a week from 6 AM to 10 PM. Description of Work: Went with this provider due to same day service, showed up on time. Only complaint is the coupon advertised on Angie's list which was purchased, really wasn't a coupon, I paid 45 dollars for a service call and 1hr of labor. I ended up w/ paying an additional 65 dollars for minimum hr charge even though the visit was for 45min total not an hour and 45min.

Our 30 year Old Faithful Touch N' Go garage door opener finally bit it when the temps stayed in the single digits and below 0 for a few days straight. Hicklin Co (A1) came out within a couple hours of my call and then completely installed the new one in about 45min - 1 hour. I chatted with the installer & asked him to move some wires to tidy things, which he gladly did. When all was said and done their price was kinda high, but I also didn't want to spend 5 hours in the cold following installation instructions on a DIY project.

My initial call for an estimate was returned promptly. The rep was on time for the estimate and the work. Ordering the door took a few weeks. I was a little confused about how long this would take, and when I called to check on the order, they called me back immediately, even though I had called in the evening, and looked up my records. The installation took a few hours - the technician arrived at the beginning of the time window they gave us. And we're delighted with the finished results. Nice looking door, extremely quiet opener.
Description of Work: They removed an old garage door and installed a new door, new track and a garage door opener. We got a nice quality door opener and insulated metal door (not the lowest or highest price products they offered).

When the job was finished the door was closing but uneven at the threshold. I had to insist that adjustments be made to ensure that the door would close all the way. In the end he did make sure everything was running properly.

Excellent. They answered the phone right away, scheduled the appt. for the next day, and showed up when they said they would. The technician was courteous and quick, the visit took no more than 15 minutes. I got these guys from the front of the Yellow Pages (a stick-on coupon), and would definitely use them again.
