I would not recommend this company. The are disingenuous as they over promise and under deliver. The 2022 hail storm required a new roof and refinished deck. Chad (Heartland Sales) said that they would take care of both for me. As Heartland is also a siding company, I asked if they would also replace some cedar siding and stain to match. Since this was not part of the storm damage, I made it clear that I would pay out of pocket for that work. He said Heartland would do it. A year passed with no work done as Chad said there was difficulty in getting the color shingles we needed...I believe this to be true and do not fault Heartland for the delay on the roof. However, no effort was put forth to refinish the deck or repair the siding. A year later, the roof was completed. Chad stopped by to pick up a check for the roof and at that time, said that he would 1] come by later in the week to get on the roof for a quality assurance check and 2] work to get a painter lined up to refinish the deck and quote the siding. That was fine with me. A few days passed and no Chad. I followed up with him on the painter and he said he would send someone to meet me at the house. A kid showed up to take measurements and scope the work for his dad...the kid was not experienced with the actual work and deferred to his dad when I had questions. Days passed and I had to chase Chad down again for the quote from the painter. Chad texted me the cost and said that Heartland was out of the deal and that I would have to work directly with the kid and his dad...in other words, Heartland would not stand by the work. Heartland left me high and dry, with an option to use an unprofessional subcontractor I knew nothing about and that Heartland would not stand behind. I am now searching for new companies that would be more scrupulous and professional than Heartland...shouldn't be too hard.

Crews were on time. Quality installation and good job cleaning up afterwards

We've used Heartland Roofing twice and both times were great! Most recently, we moved into a new-to-us house that needed a new roof sooner than later. Matt was great in working with to plan, pick out, and schedule the work. The crew showed up right on time and worked hard throughout the day. It was especially hot (97 degrees) and due to the heat, the job needed to be finished the next morning. Communications with the crew were great. No damage to any of my landscaping and everything was cleaned up well! The roof looks great and definitely adds a ton of curb appeal! In our other house, we had an insurance claim and Matt helped us through the process which was made really easy for us. At that job, it was a small house on a small lot and the crew needed to pile the old shingles in a few spots to load them into a wheelbarrow to bring to the trash trailer. Because of the space constraints, we found a few more nails in the yard and a few plants were damaged. Comparing the two roofing projects, I can see how the smaller house was much more complicated and limited the crew from their normal process. I believe any roofing company would have the same challenges. The few nails we found were easy to pick up and the plants bounced back the next spring. We'd highly recommend Heartland Roofing and if for some reason we needed another new roof, I wouldn't hesitate to call Matt!

From their response time after my initial call, to the time spent with sales and choosing the new roof, to the onsite work completed, clean up, and billing process, Heartland delivered excellent customer service and product. I highly recommend.

It was excellent, Matt came out and talked to us. Gave us a few ideas about what direction to go and be most cost effective. It's a big barn roof, I've never seen anybody work like this crew. Got the job done in a day and cleaned everything up. Very efficient.

Horrible service. Didn't complete their work. Gutters aren't working like they did before and there are leaks. Had to be corrected multiple times on what needed to be done. Found scraps after they "completed" and messed up my landscaping. And now they are asking for more money after the bill was closed. I'll be filing with the Better Business Bureau.

Their attitude from the beginning was excellent. They helped us in every way they could. The quality of their work and promptness of performance were both excellent. They went above and beyond what was called for. The house looks absolutely great. Heartland Roofing did an excellent job of helping us pick out the colors of the roof and siding. The house looks rich. The price was very reasonable. I would hire Heartland Roofing, Siding and Windows, LLC again in a minute.
