Description of Work: Performed maintenance and found an issue with my furnace. He performed a patch fix that we hope will work. If not, I will call them back for a more permanent fix. Very friendly and professional.

Description of Work: They installed a new furnace & AC unit. On first contact for a furnace tune up, they did not show up on time and communication was poor. They were going through some office transition at the time we were told. It was discovered we had a cracked heat exchanger and our furnace was 15 years old so we decided to get a new one and AC. For the installation date, they did show up on time and got it installed ok. The price was reasonable with the rebates from the power company. They were very helpful with that paperwork, did it for us. We have been happy with the product.

Description of Work: Summer Air Conditioning Checkup was done on our year old central air we purchased from company. We are very pleased with this system and it is a lifesaving necessity for a family member with allergy induced asthma in summer. We cannot have it go out. The cooling tech was very professional and knew the cooling unit well. He went over it with a fine tooth comb. He was also clean cut, had nice manners and was very customer service minded.

Description of Work: I purchased The Big Deal, $70 for HVAC Service Call & 1 Hour of Repair Labor (Includes Emergency, Nights, Weekends). I was shocked at how unprofessional they were, and I would not use them again!

By the time I got home at 6:00, work was done and furnace working properly. Tech was efficient, did only what needed done, and did not try to up-sell unneeded work. Will definitely use again.

Description of Work: On Sunday 12/20/2012 our 25 year old Lennox pulse furnace gave out. I called Craig the owner of Des Moines Heating and Cooling early Sunday morning caught him scrubbing his teeth, he said he had a technician in the area that had just finished a job and within a half hour Jason the technician was at my doorstep. Jason diagnosed the problem and even as a Lennox dealer the parts were no longer made for the 25 year old pulse furnace so a new furnace was in order as the temperature was around ten degrees outside. Jason provided electric space heaters to keep us warm overnight and the very next day 12/31/2012 or New Year's Eve day, Jeff and Dave from Des Moines Heating and Cooling installed a brand new Lennox Furnace, they got to my house at 9am and were finished by Noon. Jeff was a Master Certified Installer with over 20 years of experience, an old hand, and Dave was a young man learning the trade, they both did excellent work, were very professional and friendly. The new furnace cost me $1900 total for the furnace and installation and works great and is 95% efficient and quiet. That night New Year's Eve and the next day New Year's Day and every since we have had comfortable heat in the house at 72 degrees with temperatures outside in the single digits at night and below 20 degrees in the day. I highly recommend Des Moines Heating and Cooling for quality Lennox products at a very reasonable price and great warranty and top notch professional people who put the customer first!
