DES MOINES DRAIN & SEWER CLEANING

The plumber snaked the drain. He cleaned up when he was done. He was very professional and the job went smooth.

On time, and immediately went to work clearing floor drain. After retrieving the bigger machine, he was able to clear the drain within the hour. Would definitely hire again.

They didn't show up so after 11 we called again,and she said that he will be here soon.Finally,he came at almost 1 pm.We asked her about warranty at phone,she said yes.When finally the guy came,he said no way warranty,because it is a crawlspace.I neve had in my life a person so unprofessional like this guy.He was very grouchy,very unfriendly,and just didn't want to do the job.My crawlspace is clean and no water there.I strongly don't recommend this company.If you want to save your money and nervs,call somebody else.I just had the most unprofessional and grouchy person from a company ,in my life.

He was great. We called early on a Sunday he said he had 2 appointments before us and still had the job done by noon.

The technician was courteous, tried to keep things clean and was very thorough in cleaning the line. He also gave us some tips to reduce the chances of a similar occurence in the future.

They have been terrific. I do not know what tool he used, but he knows exactly what to do. I have used them more than once.

Great! The technician was early, friendly, and professional. He went straight to work and total time in house was 20-25 minutes. Drains had been backed up for a week and after several tries w/my snake, chemicals, etc. we consulted AL, found these folks, and couldn't have had a better experience.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Des Moines Drain and Sewer. After doing some laundry and running the dishwasher we went to the basement on a Sunday to find water coming up out of our floor drain - our main sewer line from the house was completely clogged. I called DM Drain and Sewer and they were out to the house within an hour. The technician was very professional and made every effort not to track up our house, putting down tarps, etc. so his equipment would not leave tracks. The clog proved to be a bit difficult to dislodge but the problem was resolved within a timely manner and I was only charged the price quoted on the phone. I had not had a need for this type of service before - but this is who I will call should I have problems in the future.

He came to clean out the kitchen drain within 2-3 hours of my call. A fine job was done. I've had no problems since.

We have 1960's ranch on a lot with several mature trees, so tree roots are occasionally on issue for us. I contacted three different local plumbing/sewer service companies and all three, including Des Moines Drain and Sewer Cleaning, just took my name and number and said a member of their service team would contact me. Evidently, this is pretty standard operation across the business. But then again, it's probably impossible to give perspective customers a definite time went it's not clear just how long each job takes. I decided that the one that called me back first would get my business and that I would cancel the others. I'm sooooo glad it was Des Moines Drain and Sewer that called me back. Our service person (sadly I forgot to write down his name) was fantastic. Since I was at work at the time he called, he asked how long it would take for me to meet him at the house. I told him 20 minutes and when I arrived, he was there waiting for me! He had evidently just pulled up to my house about 5 minutes before I got there. He asked questions about the nature of the problem. He then went straight to work trouble shooting by inspecting the drain, running several sources of water within the house to see the problem in action. He confirmed my suspicion about tree roots slowing the drain. I was VERY impressed with his professionalism and efficiency. He brought in a high power auger and covered his work area to prevent mess in there was any, he then took care of the issue and disposed of the tree roots. He offered some suggestions to slow the re-occurrence of roots. I would most definitely do business with Des Moines Drain and Sewer Cleaning again!

Great, I was relieved that it wasn't more expensive and that he was able to get it going quickly.

We had a slow running drain after a heavy rain fall. We called at 10 am on a Monday and by 11 am on the same day...they were at our house working. They got to work right away and within an hour the drain was unclogged and working properly again!!! A few years ago we had another company do the same work and was charged over $400. Des Moines Drain and Sewer Cleaning charged $106 to do the same work! We will definitely call them again! Wonderful experience and highly recommended!!!

Why did I pick them on a Friday afternoon when I'd never called them? They specifically listed septic lines in their ad. I called; described the problem, and the receptionist said she'd have a guy call me back this AFTERNOON. I really didn't expect that prompt service. The guy, Dustin, called me within 1/2 an hour and asked for our address as his GPS was giving him incorrect information. I told him, and he was on his way. He then called me again and wasn't sure where we were - he was right in front of our house! Anyway, I described the problem and showed him where the water was spilling out in the basement. He had me flush the toilet, and then agreed that we definitely had a clogged septic line. He had it fixed within about 20 minutes. We asked him what we could do in the future. The problem: toilet paper that wouldn't break down. He asked what type we use, and I told him Charmin. He said that it's the worst kind for septic tanks, as it won't break down and then causes a back-up, like what we had. He told us to use Scot's 2-Ply. It will break down! He was prompt, professional, and knew his stuff. We'll call them again for any septic issues!!

It was an excellent experience. The man who came out was very professional. His pricing was very good. The toilet was clogged so bad that he had to pull it out and set in a new ring and that sort of thing. The price that he charged me covered the complete parts and his labor. The end result of the job was excellent. He did a very good work and he cleaned up after himself. He is the person that I always use when I have any drain problems. My dad has used him and I use him. They are just an excellent company.

DsM Drain answered promptly and told me they would have someone out to our house in 2-3 hours. After Quite some time had passed they called again to say they'd been delayed and would be another 1-3 hours yet. As the day wore on, my husband and I had decided that if they didn't show up soon, that we would just cancel and call Smith Sewer Service the next day. However, about that time the DsM Drain employee showed up. He was quick, professional, cleaned up after himself and gone within 1/2 hour. The drain was cleaned successfully and we've had no problems since then. I would use them again but I would try to be more clear about a time issue although they did call once to relate that they were being delayed. That call made me claim an A overall. I had my kitchen sink, dishwasher and down stairs drain backing up and called for appointment. The lady that answer asked if I was going I was available that day in 3 hours, unfortunately I was not available . I made my appointment for 8:30 am. On the day I received a call 7:50 am if I was available to do even earlier since he finished another job early. I agreed and he was at my house within 10 minutes. He look at my sink, dishwasher and drain. He said it should not take long and there might be some excess water might want to clean. I was with my 2 year old and 1 year old when he came up 15 minutes later and said he was all done. He ran and clean my lines and found the clog. I went to check what I was need to clean up and was also amazed he had cleaned up everything around the drain. These guys are on my speed dial and recommend to anyone and will not be disappointed.
