Clean-It Inc

The cleaners arrived one hour early. I pointed out the time of the appointment. They moved their supplies outside, and sat on my neighbor's bench. When I went back to the door to invite them in, they said they were going to lunch and would come back. I then received at call from the owner of the service, telling me that they would no longer service me. Because: I had thrown their stuff out and was aggressive. Lies. I had a guest visiting who watched the whole thing, who later confirmed. He thought the whole thing was "crazy". I tried to explain to the owner what had actually happened, and he hung up on me. Good riddance, the quality of previous cleanings was poor. They never showed up on time, once two hours early! Overall, this company is very unprofessional and chaotic.

Arranged for monthly service. Cleaners initially arrived on schedule. Vendor then announced an unstated $9 travel charge per visit. In subsequent months, arrival times were unpredictable. After I cancelled two visits because of medical and travel conflicts the vendor never called or came again.

House cleaned beyond my expectations! Our carpet looks like new again.

They did a good job but they're very expensive for what they're doing. They try to send the same person every time or the second person which is fine with me. I like that. Other people should shop around to see if they can get a better deal. They had problems with what the schedule is. They're pretty much on time. I called them to set-up an appointment and I still haven't heard back from them.

Usually 2-3 people show up on time each week so we can get our day going. Because they are so prompt we never have had to provide a key since we know when to expect them. The do a nice job and are out quickly. I work from home a great deal and find that they are good at working around me.

I was rather disappointed in the service. Three people showed up to work 40 minutes each (for a total of 2 hours). Only one of the people spoke a few words of English, and I was completely unable to communicate with the other two and explain how I wanted things done. the gentleman finished dusting early, and instead of doing the secondary things I explained I wanted done (vacuuming, cleaning another bathroom, etc.), he dusted the door frames which I felt was rather useless. But because he didn't speak English, I couldn't tell him what I wanted him to do next. When I tried to explain to the woman who did speak a few words what I wanted him to do, she kept saying, "no time, no time" So my doorframes were clean, but other things that needed attention went undone. A second young lady cleaned my kitchen, but as they were putting all their things away to leave, I noticed my kitchen sink was a mess. She hadn't even touched it. so I brought her back and had her do it. It seemed the whole operation was rushed. They were more concerned with making their next appointment than they were in doing a good thorough job. The inability to communicate with the team was frustrating, and I felt like the $90 I paid for the service was too much for such a sub-par job. When I have remind someone to clean the kitchen sink, something is wrong. Oh, and they charge a $9 transportation fee! Doesn't matter if they are coming from another house a block away, they charge $9. So plan on spending another $9 on top of what the cleaning price is. I found other cleaners who didn't charge that, did a much better job and were able to respond to my needs on the spot.

I had a re-do of a deep clean done today. Great, through job done. My house looks great. Thanks to Jennifer for working to please the customer. You know, it's difficult anywhere --anymore to ---hire people that will complete a project in a satisfactory way. By just being direct most businesses are willing to work with a consumer to make things right. I was clear with my expectations of the 2 young ladies that cleaned today. They were incredibly polite and worked hard to be very detailed in cleaning. Thanks Clean-It for a job well done.

Jennifer has been great about trying to follow-up...we just haven't been able to connect.

I've always cleaned my own house, but hired "Clean-It" when I broke my ankle and was unable to handle the task. Response to my initial inquiry was quick, and the quote I received for cleaning the main floor of my home seemed reasonable, but the end product was disappointing. The house was not "deep cleaned" as I had requested -- rather, I got a pretty basic surface cleaning that wasn't worth the $111 price tag. For example, when I came up my basement stairs later in the day, I could see the dust and dog-fur bunnies that remained untouched under the living room couch, and a hallway mirror was still coated with dust. Also, I specifically asked that at least one member of the 3-person crew speak good English, as I have trouble understanding through a thick accent and wanted to be able to communicate with the crew; I was assured that my crew leader had a good command of the English language, but she was barely intelligible and didn't seem to understand me any better. I received a phone call from Clean-It about an hour or so before the crew was scheduled to leave, and was told that the crew had contacted the office to say they would be done early (the person who called me didn't bother to ask how things were going up to that point). The price was reduced accordingly, but I would rather they had stayed for the originally scheduled time period and done the job properly. Finally, I had originally indicated an interest in having the crew come once a month if the initial service went well. Naturally, I didn't want them back after that first cleaning, but didn't call to express my dissatisfaction right away because I expected a follow-up call to ensure that I was happy with the work and to confirm the next scheduled cleaning; eventually, I simply forgot about it. Two weeks later, I received a call at 9pm "reminding" me that the crew was coming the next morning. When I told the caller that I didn't want them back and why, she didn't express any concern or desire to make things right ('tho, after 2 weeks, it was a little late for that anyway). As a former business owner, I find it incomprehensible that no one seemed interested in making sure that I came away from my initial experience a satisfied customer. With better communication and a simple follow-up call, this company could have retained my business and enjoyed future referrals from me. Instead, I have to recommend against using Clean-It.

Clean has been cleaning for me for several months. The crew is very nice and work very hard but I have a wood floor that always seems to have stuff left on it. My feeling is they are too expensive to not have an expert job done every time.

They were very good. I had no complaints.

The staff arrived sometime after 8:30 a.m., but I had to leave the door open and unlocked for them since I had to leave for work. Next time, I will be sure to work with them on a better way to let them in in the morning. I received an email from Jennifer letting me know the cleaners had arrived and that they wanted to clarify what we wanted done to ensure we stayed within our estimated cost, which I greatly appreciated. This is likely the reason why the remaining bedroom upstairs was not done, but the door was left closed so we knew that it had not been done. We had guests staying with us that weekend, and in that room, so it would have been preferable to have had it done and paid for the time to get it done. However, everyone at Clean-it was professional and communicated very well with me, so had I clarified better, I am confident it would have been done. Customer service is of the utmost importance to them at every stage of the clean--before, during, and after. I always receive a follow up phone call and/or email from Jennifer asking if I was satisfied with the clean before receiving the invoice. I find this to be very consistent with their business model--they put the client's satisfaction first and continue to monitor their performance to ensure a good relationship. They are professional and communicate often. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I feel like the crew at clean it has done a fantastic job by going above and beyond any other cleaning company I have ever had. My windows have never looked so clean.

I found all the folks at Clean-It to be very friendly and professional (which is sometimes hard to come by w/handymen). The window/gutter cleaning was excellent; The handyman services were performed quickly and correctly; he was very nice about answering any questions and provided great feed-back on any anomalies found when doing the projects. Even the office folks were very nice and stayed in contact to ensure things were going well and that I was happy with the results - and I was very happy with the results!

The repairman was great. He explained what he was going to do, got my approval and then completed each project. He even can back and did what he said he was going to do. Yes, a contractor actually came back and finished!

The men that came to my house to do the drywall repair completed the job with skill and the cost of the repair was very reasonable. I would say that they demonstrated quality and professionalism. I would happily use the handyman services of Clean-It again and would recommend them to others.

The experience was very good. The other name of the company is Accurate cleaning company. We were very impressed with them. Everything went well.

They are excellent and are accommodating to my scheduling needs without any problems. They’ve been providing my housecleaning for about 3 months.

Things went better than my expectations. That said, amazing. Sean, one of the owners, sounded too good to be true when he came and said they can do this and that, etc. and it will be done by the best. I am skeptical. My deck looks fantastic, It took a lot longer than any of us wanted due to the weather this lovely year, but Sean kept in close contact letting us know when he was coming to work on it, sent pictures when I was out of town to show me the progress and was exacting in details. The deck looks better than when it was new. I also, changed cleaning companies to this company and they do a marvelous job. Price is right, same people, in and out. My biggest complaint with the last company were that they sent someone new everytime and never felt like my house was really clean. Plus, the pricing is better. Found window cleaners here too! This company can do it all, seriously.

I was told that there was going to be 3 ladies coming to clean and that they would arrive between 8:30-9:30 AM. Shortly after 10 AM, 2 women showed up. Neither one of the women spoke any English, and got frustrated with me when they had to call their manager in order to translate. Apparently I was to have prepared an exact list of everything I wanted cleaned. All I wanted was everything dusted, vacuumed, floors mopped, and bathrooms cleaned. They "cleaned", but before they were even out of the drive, I felt compelled to get out my dust buster and clean up what they had left on the floors. The bathroom counter tops were still covered with a layer of dust, and it looked like they had kind of gone over them, but just moved dirt around.

I made arrangements with my work to come in late so that I could be there to walk thru the rooms to be cleaned and answer questions. The team was supposed to be there at 7:30 but didn't bother to show up or call. I left at 8. I received a call at my office that the crew was there but there was no way for them to get in. I called their office and Jennifer stated, "totally my fault, I told them 8 but then I thought about it and realized I told you 7:30. I'm so sorry, do you want to reschedule?". No, I don't.

They were on time and there were three women who were very nice. They went right to work and were gone by the time that I returned at about an hour. The house was very clean except for the laundry room. I felt that the price was a little high for the small area (1000 sq ft) of my townhouse but they did clean the house.

Contacted company to do post tenant cleaning, including walls, in a 3 story house. Received a prompt estimate, including the extra work I wanted done, and were willing to schedule within a week. Very pleased with service! Price might sound high until size of house(3 story apprx 2500 sf) plus sweep basement, wash walls, and clean light fixtures. Staff arrived on time prepared to work. Very happy.

We have used Clean-It for two years with few complaints. Those we have had were related possibly to new crew members whose efforts were unacceptable. These are reported to and addressed directly by management, eliminating the potential for misunderstandings. Lists of do's and don'ts are encouraged, and may be left for the crew and/or with management.

Manager came out and gave us a price of $120 for cleaning the entire house. We elected to have the downstairs (which we don't use that much) cleaned only once a month, which reduces the price to $90 every other time. The crew arrived at the appointed day and hour on time and took approximately 90 minutes to complete both floors. The work was professional and of satisfactory quality. The office called after the first visit to get our feedback and suggestions. All in all, we don't have any complaints and will continue to use them.
