About us

The owner of Central Iowa Pool & Spa started out working for the company installing pools and being a technician. After a few years he moved up to being a salesman, learning even more about pools and spas. Mario Alba now owns this store, and it is wonderful to work with someone who truly knows the business inside and out! Top quality work is always expected, and nothing else is accepted. We sell and offer service on Sundance Spas, Pacific in-ground pools, and Lomart above-ground pools, as well as many other brands. Our service team has over 30 years of experience and works year 'round, in all types of weather conditions. From installing, to plumbing, re-wiring, and fixing leaks, to any other type of repair you can think of! We'll even transport and store a hot tub, if you need it! Our in-store staff is highly trained, and every person can test water samples for you and help you balance your water. Even our sales people are trained in water chemistry and on the technical aspects of pool and spa equipment.

Pool All pool openings and closings, liner replacements, leak location and repair, auto-cover maintenance, repair, and installation, heater installation and repairs, mineral and salt system trouble-shooting and repair, pump and filter system repairs, and more! Spa Drain, clean, refill, replace covers, install cover lifts, find and repair leaks, move spas, store spas, replace jets, all repairs and installation aspects, and more.

Services we don't offer

We cannot order parts for spas that we are not a dealer for, so if it is a Hot Springs, Caldera, Maax spa, Whirlpool, etc, we won't have access to parts for you. Same thing if it is a spa purchased through Menards, Home Depot, or Wal-mart. We try to help everyone we can, though! We may be able to direct you to someone who can help you find parts, if we cannot.

Description of Work: Purchase pool chemicals. The owner Mario is very knowledgeable as are a couple of employee's but you need to watch as some in store employee's are not.
