Santino was very nice but his quality of work was terrible. He installed an exterior door and the deadbolt does not work, he added wood to the interior frame which he did not rip down so the trim pieces around the door stick out from the wall. He also installed a storm door, the handle is crooked, the door sweep is not completely sealed and he put screws on the exterior trim that does not match the frame. If he would return and correct these items I would give him a more favorable review.

My bathroom was very outdated it was an add on from the 1970â s oddly shaped the sore thumb of our house. Not having a huge. Budget the estimates we were getting were double what we wanted to spend. We called cavalry home renovations after a friend recommended them. Santino came and looked at the project and came back with an estimate for a full gut and one that would work within our budget. He worked with us to get good quality material for a good price. The end result was more than we ever dreamed. Santino was very professional, knowledgeable and very approachable. He kept us informed and project was done in timely manner. It was a pleasure having santino do our project he is very friendly and ready to answer any questions and concerns we had. We have since decided to hire Cavalry home renovation to replace all trim and bass in our home. We highly recommend Santino and Cavalry Home renovations.

Santino absolutely botched my interior trim project. My walls are in much worse shape than they were before I hired him. To start with, the materials he purchased for the job were cheap and simply looked bad. He said he noticed they were cheap upon receiving them, and instead of returning them and finding something better, he proceeded to install this cheap product all over my home. The product he chose was not the only fault, his installation was also incredibly sloppy and demonstrated absolutely zero craftsmanship. There were noticable gaps between the panels and the existing trim, wood putty and glue smeared all over the walls, panels, and my floors, he left unfinished splintering edges, and he completely disregarded what we had discussed in several areas with matching the finish to my existing trim and with the actual panel application. Beyond that, he left my home a dusty mess. Upon reviewing his work, I told him that it's simply not acceptable and that I'd like him to fix it. He then removed (almost) all of the panelling and left, never to be seen again. My walls are fully trashed and torn up. I'll need to have all the drywall removed and replaced to get back to where I was before the damage. Other things to note were the long string of angry, obscenity filled text messages he sent me, threatening to sue and demanding payment for his "work" (I did pay him half of what he quoted me for), and the fact that he left my discarded switch plate screws in one of my houseplants. I also paid an initial down payment of $1,580 "for materials" and later found out he had only spent $380 on the panels. I don't know what he spent on the glue or additional wood, but surely there was enough there for an actually decent product. Absolutely unprofessional behavior. Would not recommend him or his company to anyone.

Santino is a real pro with door repairs and replacement. He found a used door and installed it as a replacement for our broken door. Santino did a good job of communicating with us before and during the project. He was easy to work with and professional. He guarantees his work. He followed through on all the tasks he said he would do. We would definitely recommend him.
