Description of Work: We hired Gary (landscape architect at Bob Lent) to create a design for our yard and the area around the house and the deck. The outcome takes our breath away. It is incredibly beautiful. He used plants and rocks we already had on the property in addition to those brought in on the truck. The workman who completed the design were clean, quiet, friendly and artists themselves. Truly!! I cannot recommend Gary and his team highly enough.

Description of Work: They added some bushes and stones to a landscaping project we had done three years ago. The selected bushes and stones make the area look much better. We are very please with the work done.

Description of Work: I left a message on Dec 31st. I wasn't expecting a call that day as it was New Year's, however, never did receive a return call. If he's too busy to take on anymore this winter, all he needed to do was call & say so. Very unprofessional.

Description of Work: Bob Lenc Landscaping sent a representative to my home to review my needs. They never followed through with a bid, or timetable to complete the work. I called several times asking for an update. The person on the phone assured me someone would get back to me, and they never did.

Description of Work: Tom Gordon came out and quoted me for lawn service. At the same time, he gave me recommendations on yard work to do. I had told him I had a tree that needed trimming and limb removed. He pointed out my evergreen tree had spider mites, the neighbor's tree was encroaching and we discussed cleaning up a flower bed. He also mentioned trimming in my front yard I could do. The quote was reasonable so I had them come. They called that day because I have a dog and needed to keep him inside. They did the work and cleaned up the area nicely. Tom also did some additional trimming as a favor. They were fantastic to work with.

Description of Work: We called Bob Lenc for a simple landscape design in the backyard to create a "garden" around a couple of existing trees and to remove a poorly done "garden" overrun with old plants and crumbling landscape stone. The designer they sent out was right on time, very friendly and really listened to our wants/needs in the new garden. The only reason we didn't go with Bob Lenc is that they were quite a bit more expensive than one of the other designers we had come visit. But we will definitely be talking them the next time we have any size project to spec out.

Description of Work: We have always done all of our own lawn maintenance, including applying fertilizer and other treatments. Unfortunately, we were unable to do it this year due to unforeseen circumstances. We called Bob Lenc for an estimate to do the work. They came out the next day and gave us the estimate. They explained that the lawn season had already started, so they would have to catch us up on the first application to get us on the right schedule. We felt that the estimate was fair and so we hired them. An employee was here the following week doing the catch-up work. Their schedules were off as well because of all of the rain we had this spring. They have been here three times to make applications since we hired them. The people who came to do the work have been professional and friendly. We had a question about aeration that the employee who was here couldn't answer, so she called her supervisor and got us an answer right away. This was a small thing but we were very pleased and impressed with their service.

Description of Work: I used the services of Bob Lenc Landscaping & Lawn Care about 2 months ago. They did some landscaping around the house.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate on a smallish (less than $5000) residential landscaping job. Office staff set up an appointment for estimator to come to my home at 1pm on my day off. Estimator did not show up until 4pm, said that he had several missed appointments that day due to errors in scheduling. Estimate was slightly above others I'd received, but would not have used them anyway due to disorganized start to the interaction.

Description of Work: Front yard landscaping, removing current landscaping and replacing with new easy maintenance landscaping. Added a concrete step to also.

Description of Work: We had Bob Lenc draw up a plan for a brick patio with hardscape and greenery. We had them install the flagstone pavers and we did the plant work. Also, we had flagstone from other projects so they did the base and laid the stones. We also prepped the area such as digging out the space. So, the project could have cost a lot more but we contributed a lot of the work.

Description of Work: We requested a complete redo of our flower beds and plants around the house. We also wanted an area behind our garage cleaned of lawn debris and weeds and replanted.

Description of Work: They removed 4 very over-grown bushes, added dirt to improve the grading around the house and replaced river rock, etc. They also did a "kill" on some weeds, placed dirt and did an overseed with straw. The grass is growing well.

Description of Work: They re-did our whole yard. We took out railroad ties, put in stonework and boulders. They terraced our yards so we don't have a lot of water rushing down through the yard, also to prevent future wash outs.
