We were staying at a rental property and they replaced the conduit, which took additional time as the guy they sent said there was a short in the line. Upon calling his boss they advised that it was false and due to things being plugged in. They tried to charge us for the additional time but lowered the charges. Now they are taking us to court instead of the homeowners even though we paid them and they claim that it was never paid or it was lost. Will never do business with again.
Description of Work: Needed conduit replaced after a tree pulled it off the rental property during a windstorm.

I had Baker Electric come to my home to upgrade my service in 2008( not sure what month) for a little over $3000. A few days after they finished, I realized they didn't plug my freezer back in, the contents of the freezer were ruined as well as the freezer due to the Oder. I called and told them and it was like Too Bad Lady!! I let it go !! I also thought i would have 3 prong outlets and when i called they said, well that would have cost a lot more! I would have liked to have the option to decide. I am now selling my home and all these red flags came up on the electrical box that they installed. I called on 4/26/2015 and spoke to Bob. Bob said it was too long ago for them to address the issues. No one has been in that electrical box since they left. He said it was inspected after they left by the city inspector but it wasn't . I asked if the codes had changed and Bob said No, therefore it was not done according to code at the time. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer Safety that they have shown me.

It is difficult to get an appointment. It took several calls to get the person who sets these up to call me. The repairman seemed to know his business, but had to come back to fix an outlet he had installed because it was loose. I was somewhat shocked at the cost. I've never had electrical work done before, so maybe the high cost is typical.
Description of Work: Replaced bad garbage disposal switch, added whole-house surge protector, enlarged a 2 outlet box to a 4 outlet box, replaced broken light fixture, added outlet in basement, looked over electrical system.
