All Mighty Movers

First I will start with the movers themselves. They were the positive. They did a good job. The negative was the service from the office and the owner himself. We were moving from a rental 3 bedroom townhome in Ankeny to a new hone we purchased in Johnston. We also have a storage unit in Monroe that needed to be moved to the new home as well. My wife filled out all of the info online for what we had. We do have a good amount of items for a 3 bedroom place. We moved to Iowa two years ago with a packed full 26 foot truck. I thought there was a good chance that two loads would be needed. But that was never asked to us. The guys got there on time and went through the inventory of everything. Also went through what they had listed that was at our storage. No issues. They got everything loaded and it was clear that with the way it was packed, the truck would needed to be unloaded at the new house and then to the storage to load that. Extra money out of our pocket but we needed to get it all. On the way to the new home, my wife gets an email that the crew was booked in the afternoon and that the storage would have to be done at another time. I called the office to ask about this because this was ridiculous to me. No sorry was said. She just kept telling me about how it was my wife’s fault and that she didn’t list things correctly. “On our list, it should have easily fit on the truck.” HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Again, we moved all of our items across country on a 26’ truck so I know it fits. The the owner called me and it was the same thing. Just kept blaming my wife. The crew went over the inventory and the. The list for the storage which was correct. But somehow it was my wife’s fault. And no sorry. They couldn’t even get the storage for a few days later. No thank you!! Not giving another dime to this company and I urge you not to as well unless you want extremely poor service from the owner himself!!!

Now that I have had time to look at my bed they completely damaged it to the point where they warped the bed by not doing what I asked them to do which was to only take the headboard off. I have seen loose screws and had to fix those. I can also see looking at the slats that one is pulled far enough down that it screws the whole bed up. I will never use them again. They essentially screwed up a 600 dollar plus bed. They tried to bribe me with $100 make up for damages on a $600 plus bed then said I would not be allowed to post any negative reviews about them. I will not be bribed, I will not remove my feedback, and no I will not allow you to come over so you can put it together right when you warped the bed. They also charged me for a tv box yet never used a tv box for my tv. They also never said anything about signing a contract, they said it was just an agreement to pay. They also never said anything about a 96 hour damage policy. Pete the owner was very rude. He did offer me a $100 refund and yes I refused but only because he was very rude and would not listen to me about the damage they did to my bed.

Excellent- would hire again, have used twice! They are fast yet efficient!

Scheduling the appointment was very easy and they were very flexible with my timing. Nice people!

They were very nice men. However, it took them much longer than their estimate and so it cost more.. Also, they did not put several boxes on the right floor and we had lots of work to do afterwards.

Pete and his crew were great. They showed up a few minutes before their promised time and got to work immediately. We were amazed at how quickly they got everything loaded. They were also friendly and professional and respectful of our items. They weren't the cheapest service we found but their prices were very reasonable and they worked very hard loading and unloading. We would happily use their services again.

When these movers arrived, we had already begun to load the moving van. Once the movers arrived, they quickly improved what we had already done, making the whole move much more efficient. In the two hours that they helped us, they did more than the four in our family could have done in a whole day! Once we arrived at our destination, the family and friends that helped us to unpack kept commenting on how well the van was packed-it was all due to Pete and his company. Pete and company communicated efficiently, and worked with us, which made things very smooth and efficient. We could not have hoped for a better moving experience!
