A-SHANNON'S TREE SERVICE

At this point, I don't remember if it was three or four days on the job. I waited to post this because I was upset. When I received my estimate, we discussed trucks parked in/on my yard and driveway--I specifically didn't want heavy equipment in my yard. He brought two trucks to the job and left one of them parked on my driveway despite my asking him to not leave it there. If this guy does your tree work for you, please get the completion date and number of vehicles he can leave parked on your street in writing. He also does business as AAA. Pat postponed starting the job. He managed to make a 6 hour job last almost 4 days. He was supposed to start on Thursday, then rescheduled to Friday. He couldn't make that because he had horse plans. Then he couldn't come on Monday because he fell of the horse. He did come Tuesday to start the job, 1 hour before dark at 7:00 pm. He drove one truck and had his girlfriend pick him up. They had a verbal arguement in the middle of my street. He left his truck in the middle of the street. He drove another truck the next day, but arrived later than the 8-10:00 he stated the night before--he arrived at 7:00 pm again and left with his helper. He had one tree in my driveway while they were working. He then backed the truck with the shredder up into my backyard and the truck on the neighbor's yard blocking my trashcans. Right next to my elderly neighbor's bedroom. When pressed to move it, he only pulled it up enough to allow me access to my trash cans and get off the neighbors yard. He and his helper arrived early (I'm not sure if it was the next day or the day after--before 8:00 and started working. Using the shredder and chainsaw. He took down the limbs of the tree to be removed and left the trunk, breaking for lunch. He didn't come back till much later in the day and finished taking down the tree. He wanted me to pay him part and then pay the stump removal guy. I said no. Good thing because he didn't have one lined up AND it was a lot more than he told me. I will probably have to have someone re-do most of the cuts on the tree as they do not look like other trimmed trees I have seen. ..

They had to get a crane to get the tree out, and he did a very good job overall. He was prompt and he got the job done. I would recommend him to others.
