He came and did the work quickly and well.

Received an estimate for $665 for the electrical work we needed done. The electrician who was here and did the work kept telling us how the job was much easier than expected because the wiring to our box was already done and they had not expected that. I mistakenly thought that meant my bill would be less. The electrician left a big mess in several rooms and when I let the owner know he was immediately defensive and implied my husband and I were lying (even though we sent him photos). Most bizarre experience ever with a contractor - and we have worked with many. When asking for an itemized bill we were told he would see us in small claims court. We have no intention of not paying, but just wanted to know exactly what we were charged for since the guy who did the work said the job was easier than expected. Weirdest experience ever, and since we are small business owners ourselves, it makes it that much harder to understand. Particularly with the good ratings here. We are dumbfounded and would never recommend this company based soley on their customer service, or lack there of. We are still awaiting an itemized bill, which I guess we are not going to get so we will have to go to small claims court. Which seems silly since we are more than happy to pay, we just want to be charged fairly.

We had used them before on a very small job and found that they were very efficient. He did things according to code and did not cut any corners. They did an excellent job. One of the technicians got an illness which slowed down the job a little bit.

A-1 Electric completed all tasks. Owner John was able to have his people dig a trench for the underground conduit before the ground froze. A week later he brought in a crew of three to do the electrical part of the project. It took two days. They installed a 6 Circuit Main Lug Subpanel onto my Wads Worth Panel. New Sub Panel fed with 50 Amp 240 Volt Circuit. A 20 Amp 120 Volt Circuit was ran thru an underground conduit to the garage (Schedule 40 PVC) 1 inch case and a separate conduit for the phone line. All wiring completed professionally. They added an emergency shut-off switch for free. Taxes & Fees were included in the bid. There was some clean-up that didn't get accomplished... bits of wiring, screws etc... found in various places. However, we are very satisfied with the electric work.

The owner came out and provided a not to exceed bid on the job. The price was extremely fair for the job. They did a great job communicating throughout the entire process. The electrician that came out to complete the job was very courteous. A great job done at a great price...What else could you ask for? I will definitely use them again in the future.

Both of our external plugs had failed, and we were concerned that the GFI circuit had gone bad. A-1 was able to determine that just the plugs were bad and replaced them. We had a few other concerns that were addressed promptly.

The estimate was a little chaotic; the owner got phone calls/pages very frequently as we were trying to discuss what we wanted to have done. The estimate he returned, however, was very detailed despite all the interruptions. The electrician who did the work worked quickly and the work was done well and for exactly the estimated cost (which was considerably lower than a couple of the other bids we got).
